doesn't make it right. A champion shouldn't be forced to put his title on the line if not given the courtesy to fight within to total parameter of the weight class. If he chooses to, fine. But to force it is unfair.

Its not for the title because he can't weigh in at 47'.

          well yes.

          he can always say no.

matter of fact pac was the one who didnt want to fight up to 145. cotto was more ok with catchweight than pac was. THATS why pac got the extra bonus check to sign the fight.

i understand completely what your saying. - CHECK

your making it seem like because he cant weigh in at 47 that its a disadvantage for him. it's not.

the fact that arum didnt put in the contract that the belt had to be on the line when cotto signed it is beyond me.

            i'm tired of arguing this.

First off, stop being a little prick. Second, the limit is 147. If the title is at stake the champion should be allowed to come in up to that weight. Its about the credibility of the division.

Never said it makes it right. Just saying it wouldnt be the 1st time it's been done so i dont see how it would change the integrity of the title.

Who are you to say it isn't a disadvantage? If it isn't a disadvantage, wgy not just fight within the established limits?

Cotto is being a little baby. He's getting the biggest payday of his career 4x.

He still has the audacity to complain about 2lbs.

It changes the integrity if the champion is unwillingly forced to to put that title on the line under a new set of weight guidelines. Like I said, if he chooses to do so fine.
