BTW, if it is not a title fight, then let them fight at 140, no title at stake. If not, just cancel it.

Well, at that point, lets just cut the bull**** and have it be at its 41 to 47.

We have too many weight classes as it is. We don't need one more.

Then ask yourself...Whats the main event fight on Nov.14? ...Yea thats right....a WELTERWEIGHT BOUT.

Yet somehow a lot of you believe that because it isn't at the WW max limit it shouldnt count as a WW fight. This is garbage.

Than why can't Cotto come in at the WELTERWEIGHT maximum if he chooses? Last I knew welterweight was contested at 141 to 147, not 141 to 145. If Manny wants that belt he should adhere to the rules.

            It seems simple enough.

But Packy and his fans are on a power trip and wanna have their cake and eat it too.

Want the WW belt? Come and get it.

didnt you read my long thread that should have been a lot shorter?

team pac needs the fight to be signed as low as possible within the WW limits to make the fight happen. otherwise it won't happen and all will suffer from this because summer boxing schedule looks pretty grimm and who really wants to pay for a pbf/marquez? thats right.

the fight is at 45' and the belt WILL be on the line. there is no foul play here.

Point is, the rules shouldn't be altered to favor Manny. If done it changes the credibility of the title.

Wouldnt be the 1st time WW title was on the line at a catchweight of 145 lbs.

So Cotto should fight at a disadvantage to save the summer boxing schedule? (Shaking my head) Laughable.

Because he has no balls to bluff Arum and Pacquiao.

Because he SIGNED and agreed to fight at 145 come weigh in.

He can choose to come in at WW limit to defend his belt ,but guess what Pac is the king right now (no matter how you dice it) and he wanted a lower weight to be officially signed and Cotto acknowledged it by SIGNING to the fight.

If he wanted to defend his belt at 147 maybe he shouldve grown a pair and not sign the fight to be at 145. WE ALL KNOW that if Cotto held out longer Pac would not have anyone else to go to right now. He don't want none of SSM.
