Silencers always has a superb breakdown on fights. I dont agree with everything he said but very valid points. I think we will see balance restored in this fight with Cotto fighting a great big mans fight and Pac using his speed and skills in the ultimate litmus test for his place above 140. If Pac throws down another impressive performance and dominates the fight he is the legitimate Sh i t!

pacquiao will stay on his toes throughout the first 6 and try to outbox Cotto and prevent hm from using his big money makers by not letting Cotto hit anything. Pac will stay in the middle of the ring and use that to his advantage due to superiour agnle movement , the ropes and corners are danger zones.

Cotto will come out and try to time pac, while maintaining a steady stiff jab keeping pacquiao in his reach stalking him. theyll go toe to toe a couple times ealier and although pacquiao may be throwing more Cotto is slowly pushing Pac back with power. The first couple rounds will be felt out by Cotto trying to match handspeed. the later rounds he will be timing Pacquiao perfectly neautralizing his speed. eventually timing th eperfect shot to stumble pacquiao.

Once pacquiao is hurt he will try to fight it out and regain consciousness but Cotto will charge and finish him off somewhere in the 8th.

The best part about this fight is the viewer all thier well paid money worth
Good work figs....Pretty close to how I see it going....going to be a great fight....all of posts have been solid...one can make an argument for each of them.

          Respect to both great fighters.

Cotto has a great left hook and a very good straight right that he tends to over use. Seeing how Pac was caught frequently by JMM with these two punches and JMM isn't exactly a speed demon, I believe these punches will find Pac too.Now if Pac tries and box using his speed it will keep him in the fight and maybe even give him an advantage. Pac will look good in the first 2-4 rounds, maybe even make Cotto look dumb. IF Pac cannot hurt Cotto with his punches Cotto will attack relentlessly. NOW we all know Pac is a warrior like Cotto and when Pac gets hit he will clap his gloves together and then throw them in the air (his "ready to go to war" thing). That's when I believe they will trade and Cotto will KO him.

Bottom line is this fight could legitimize Pac as the most talented, risk taking fighter of the last ten years or push Cotto into center stage and the top 4 or 5 in p4p rankings. Both guys have big hearts and the ability to win this fight in several ways. Who knows if they battle back and forth to a draw we could be getting the next collosal trilogy fight. Little early for that but I can dream. A buddy and I are going to this fight , unless priced out ala ticket prices. anyone else planning on attending?

Cotto better man up and train for the fight of his life. Stamina could be the difference in this fight but honestly I thought his stamina looked better in the Clottey fight its just that he had to deal with a cut and a very difficult and strong opponent. Getting away from PR has to be an advantage.

Well if I believe Cotto will KO Pac before 6 rounds then why should I be concerned with his Stamina? and considering that 6 of 9 Cottos last fights went 11 or 12 rounds...I think his stamina is fine.
