      • People need to stop living in 2007. Everyone's talking about numbers dont lie and 2007 numbers lets look at 2009 numbers. 2009 numbers show Mayweather cant sell godamn tickets. He's not as popular as he was before. Pac has surpassed him and is now the man in boxing. Pac/Cotto will outsell PBF/JMM and anyone thats unbiased will agree. Who sold more PPVs in 2008? Pac. 2009? Pac.

        Get out of 2007.

If this fight doesnt happen because of this 50/50 bull****... I will have more respect for Victor Ortiz than I do for Floyd....PERIOD....
          That's because Ortiz is a mexican and you're a *****.

          • The *** is everyone yappin about Floyd should agree to a 50/50 split when Arum/Pacquiao are not even offering a 50/50 split?

Read the damn article, "Floyd and Manny have finally agreed to one thing, the fight won't be 50/50"

That means both. If the fight does not get made then **** on both of them, not just one.

Every time i get on this website i just read a bunch of ***in nonsense from low life drop outs and old uneducated men who think they know what they are talking about.

            **** is ridiculous.

Oh and just to clear it up... your doing double standards, Arum said repeatedly he would not accept 50/50 and only 60/40 in his favor (there have been reports on him saying 50/50 is okay but whether they're legit is another thing)... what I wanna know is, how come its a compete sin for Floyd to want the lions share, but okay for Arum to?
I'd add in Jr. WW, I'd like to have seen him fight some other 154lbers but admittedly that's a bit much for him.

              • just cause he beat a trigger shot Delahoya... and a B-rate white boy... AND he has ducked ... and been acused of ducking... and then goes and retires... not having really made a legit claim as the baddest MOFO on the planet... THATS WHY HE SHOULDNT BE ASKING FOR THE LIONS SHARE... cause he hasnt earned it!

                  • Pac vs. Cotto will sell more than Mayweather vs. Marquez because people believe Pac. vs. Cotto will be competitive, whereas they mostly believe Mayweather will dominate Marquez.

A better question is, which one sells better:
Pac vs. Cotto or Mayweather vs. Cotto.

In my humble opinion, Mayweather vs. Cotto sells more.

Quintana, Cintron, Clottey had no kind of public demand at all... nobody was interested in it, lets just clear that up. You MIGHT be able to say the same about Williams, but nobody wanted the guy at WW anyway including Cotto and Mosley.

Margarito wanted it when he had the chance to get the WBC crown against the lineal #1 WW Baldomir (even though he wasn't a very good fighter, lineal nevertheless), also... idiot like Brian Kenny tried to accuse Floyd of ducking Baldomir before fighting Judah. He then went on to fight DLH for many millions, which you can't blame him for.

Mosley has backed out of fights from Floyd in the past, but you will ignore that... truth is loads of people try to claim Floyd ducked Mosley and Mosley ducked Floyd but IMO it was neither, just the fact that they both wanted it at the wrong times when others had more options.

Cotto, just to clear up... Floyd wanted Cotto apparently at JWW... Cotto was too green, still this doesn't mean the fight shouldn't have happened... though Cotto has never called him out but I wouldn't use that as an excuse either, Hatton was just the case of easy money... with the following he had from Britain it would be huge, which it did very well in PPV buys.

To be fair, the Cotto thing I was unsure of... but who knows, Cotto never called him out anyway, like I said not an excuse and Floyd decided to retire, as I said, nobody knows why he retired, just our assumptions on what we think... he might have done it through fear of fighting WW's, he might have done it cause he was bored of the sport, he might have just wanted to take a break from the sport to let injuries heal over... nobody knows, only Floyd.

This goes by everything I have said, we don't know whether he "ducked" these fighters or not... only Floyd knows, what we think... is just that, what we think.
