WHO WOULDN'T WATCH THAT!!!!!!!!!!!?
Floyd
Shane
Cotto
WIlliams
two B Class
Margarito
Clottey
two c class
berto

and that would be a lot of money to put into...and the fact is, that Williams wins this tournament easy, because he might not be as talented as Shane, or MIguel, or Floyd, but his amazing workrate frustrates anybody to lose, and it's just really hard to look good against him, althought a C class fighter did beat him, but that was just luck and Quintana is a good slick fighter in himself, with plenty of reach too...
I hope this would happen, but just between the A class, and not williams.

If JMM wins Mayweathers stock goes down, way way down. Whoever wins out of the Cotto/Paq fight will be the money draw vs Mayweather. Still Mayweather can go for Mosley but even if he gets 60% or more for that fight I promise you going 60/40 for a Cotto/Paq matchup will be worth more. He'll soon learn that no matter how greedy he gets he's going to have to fight these guys at some point and probably at less and less money the longer he holds out. The fact of the matter is that after JMM Cotto/Paq/Mosley don't need Mayweather, they'll make more than enough money fighting each other. Its Mayweather who needs these fights and all that has to happen is for GBP and Top Rank to tell Mayweather its this or nothing. If he doesn't take it he goes back to fighting no name people with crappy selling PPV's.

Floyd's correct, the fight will happen somewhere around 60/40 with Pac, getting the lion's share. Mayweather will have no choice but to concede as he needs the cash more than Pac. Mayweather is also correct in indentifying greed as the culprit. However, it's his very own...

Mayweather did NOT sell "the most ever", it was a combination of DeLaHoya and Mayweather's obnoxious persona. Mayweather as the principal can hardly draw flies. This has been proven over and over again.
In the instance under discussion, Manny P can outdraw Mayweather any day of the week and 3 times on Sundays, so it's just pure , simple, economics that Manny would be entitled to the larger portion of the purse, the eventual amount depending on the amount of greed, pride and bluff put up by Mayweather.
His record, when examined doesn't come anywhere near to Manny's body of work, when even casually examined, and the ages, standards, and conditions of their opponents are considered.
In my opinion, Mayweather is basically a "fraud", and I sincerely don't believe that I have ever seen him in a good, enjoyable fight, other that the first Castillo fight-barely-, when he was very "lucky" to have been awarded the win.
I could quite happily never bother to look at a Mayweather fight ever again.

Because there is no way in hell Pacquiao would get the lesser of the purse. Face, people dont pay to watch Mayweather. They pay to watch Mayweather's opponents beat Mayweather.
ODLH... he was the draw.
Hatton.... the fight was in the UK, which makes him the draw.
Pacquiao being the exciting bastard that he is, he will 9/10 times be the draw. Because people want to see Mayweather lose.

Mayweather is as dillusional as he is gifted. Since 2006, he's had 3 decisions (Baldy, Goldie, and Judah) and one KO - Lil Ricky... not exactly "Murderer's Row". Pacquiao, on the other hand stopped Morales twice, beat Marquez and Barrera, made Goldie quit, and nearly decapitated Lil Ricky. (And Floyd says he doesn't think Manny has done enough to take his P4P crown?). Fans of this era will recognize his greatness, 'cuz we saw the skills on display...however, as it stands now, he doesn't crack the top 20 G.O.A.T. Given the fact that he fights only once or twice a year, and his fragile physicality, he will probably run out of opportunites to establish the legacy he is already claiming. Floyd will not be forgotten in the future, but with every passing year, his resume will look thinner as well as deliberately manufactured.

i really think this means nothing...he even said that he would fight him...i don't think that floyd would turn down a fight for a lot of money...but i know he would if he was underpaid...as long as him and manny get the money that they deserve...they will agree to fight...
