In all honesty it's sounding like Floyd don't want the fight at all. If he won't fight Pacman next for a lower cut who does he fight? I know it ain't gonna be Mosley. Perhaps Cotto if he beats Pacman.
that is the real question i ponder

who is floyd gonna fight after marquez?

    he wants money fights right?

    shane
    cotto
    pac

    thats it, who else?

I think you're the one being cheated by a fraud who refuses to fight anyone worthwhile in his weight class who goes around saying he's the best. "...it's not hard to find me". MY ASS! Margarito, Cotto & Mosley have been unsuccessfully looking for him for years.

If this fight doesnt happen because of this 50/50 bull****... I will have more respect for Victor Ortiz than I do for Floyd....PERIOD....
How you know behind the scenes that Ortiz doesnt have the same problems negotiating, all fighters negotiate money, its just these two are high profile and are in the limelight. I dont see what the big deal is, he merely said he wont take 50/50. How many fights have been on PPV? And Floyd was in the biggest of them all and it wasnt even close and it should settle for a split? Its actually laughable. Manny will budge trust me.

What HBO needs to do is counter Showtime with a Welterweight "Excellent Eight" tournament...... So we can get all these nagging questions about the division answered.

              Mayweather
              Cotto
              Mosley
              Berto
              Clottey
              Williams
              Margarito
              Judah

              WHO WOULDN'T WATCH THAT!!!!!!!!!!!?

Put yourself in your work situation and look at it from that point of view, Id be fuming if someone came to me with an offer any different. But I can see how fans would get mad, its robbing them of a fight, but he isnt the fan, rather the participant.
But yourself in a business owner's shoes. Which guy going forward is going to bring you the most money? Floyd who hasn't fought in 2 years and contradicts himself left right n center. Or Pacman who is now the face of boxing and created more buzz than there's been in a while? A guy who comes to fight every fight and gives customers their moneys worth?

If you choose Floyd you'd make a ****ty businessman.

**** history. Floyd aint fought in 2 years. Stack up the buys between pbf/jmm and pac/cotto and then we'll see who deserves the bigger piece of the pie.

All I know is any Pacman fight would have sold more than 3k tickets with a month to go until the fight.

Pac feels he deserves the bigger share, he's the P4P #1

Floyd feels he deserves the bigger share, he was involved in the biggest fight ever and outsold Manny with common opponents

Hopefully this **** gets ironed out

He should stop being so stubborn. 50/50 is perfectly fine. If he's gonna come back, just to do this ****. Then he should've stayed retired.

Since Floyd is such a monter draw and the biggest PPV star blah blah blah blah you better hope he outsells pac/cotto or his negotatiating position is gone to ****. After Pac/Cotto outsell Floyd by a good number Floyd will be lucky to get 40%. Floyd doesn't want the fight, he's just pricing himself out as he has in the past surprise surprise.
