Brilliant ad hominem. I'm sure he'll be tucking tail for weeks after that zinger. In the most recent Tarver fight Lampley or someone was remarking how even Tarver said that losing that much weight has a significant effect upon a boxer. I found it intereseting because I was just reviewing the fight were Tarver taunted RJJ with 'got any excuses tonight, Roy?' and I thought it poetic.

    Tarver's wife is hawt.

well that's the trade off... either sell your championship for money or screw the money and win the fight.

Yeah he looks "220" here. Where did it say he weighed 220, Tarver himself? Tarver also said he was perfectly fine. Tarver is full of **** and he's made 175 perfectly fine since. He's always gone to 190 or so when making 175. That's normal for him.
I haven't seen Tarver fight like he was able to against Johnson since either...which could also have taken something out of him.

Never said he was 220 but he did put on weight which was on Sly's request...so I'm sure Sly was probably weighing him in as well.

Ali was still talking **** and showing off his new body after the weight loss (so I hear).

How does it compare? WEIGHT LOSS and maybe even age (although I would have to check on that).

Tarver fighting at 175 and putting up wins while still active and maintaining a certain weight is different from blowing up in weight passed what you are used to then trying to strip it off by dieting and training to get back down to fighting weight.

Did anyone really even give Ali a chance against Holmes, especially at that stage?
What does that have to do with the question about if he was weight-drained or not?

because it is ridiculous that people trying to discredit hopkin's wins. Why is it that "old man" hopkins is going to get knocked out, then when he beats his opponents excuses start to pop up. "old man" hopkins was supposed to get knocked out by Tito then when Hopkins wins.. its tito was a blowed up WW. "old man" hopkins was supposed to get beat up by Tarver, and was the under dog. Hopkins wins and now it is Tarver was weight drained. "old man" hopkins was supposed to get knocked out by Pavlik. Hopkins makes him look like a fool and now it is Kelly is over rated and possesses no real skills. All three of these opponents Hopkins was the under dog. All 3 were humiliated. It is ridiculous the amount of people trying to discredit a great fighter like Hopkins.

Hopkins is miles ahead of Johnson. It's easier to look better against lesser competition then against Hopkins Hopkins had the defense and the right hand to make Tarver look ******. That's what he did too

It's got to do with your comparison of Ali-Holmes and Tarver-Hopkins.

Are you ******ed? i quoted YOU about the trash talking done between the two.
