What do you think about Marvin Hagler? His two biggest wins were over Tommy Hearns (welterweight) and Roberto Duran (best work at 135). And he lost to a welterweight in SRL.

Do you apply the same criticism towards Hagler as you do hopkins? If not, then it's clear you're out just to hate on bhop.

i think the large dissention for bernhard comes because his delusional fans will go to great lengths to make illogical excuses and totally discredit anyone who has legit reasons in proving said overratedness...

yes hopkins legion of fans has grown since his days of tumbleweeds at the blue horizon in the 90's, but just about everyone who says hopkins is overrated says so for the same reasons, so there must be validity if this is the case...

for example, most hopkins fans will quickly pull up haglers wins over duran and hearns when hopkins antagonists argue that hopkins has beat up on smaller men his entire career, when they know themselves that duran and hearns proved to be far better fighters p4p legacywise than oscar and tito..

above that, hagler was a natural middleweight who cleaned out arguably the deepest middleweight division in boxing history, while hopkins is a scaled down lightheavy who feasted on inferior middleweights while waiting for big name welters like trindad and de la hoya to move up...
