Gatti's an overrated punching bag. Cotto knocks him out.

Now i'm not sure how strong Gatti's body is compared to his chin. Miguel is a good body puncher. (Not so sure after the Clotey performance).

But i'd say a prime Gatti (B Class Fighter) would still go down by K.O i'd predict around the 9-12 round.

Yet Gatti's prime was back in his young 20 against fighters such as Ivan Robinson, Jesse James Leija,Tracy Harris Patterson, and other respectable B class fighters.

But note that Cotto near the age of Gatti wasn't as good as a boxer that he is today, proof such as Demarcus Corley and Ricardo Torres.

If u put Gatti out of prime and Miguel Cotto = Cotto by KO
Gatti in Prime vs Miguel Cotto = Cotto by late KO
Gatti in Prime was Young Cotto (same prime age as cotto 18-25) = Gatti by SP, UD, or Cotto by UD, SP or late KO.

Cotto destroys Gatti to the body.

              It'd be real ugly.

No it wasn't but Cotto didn't always fight at 147

Good post and I just think that Cotto vs Gatti under 147 would be Cotto's fight but I don't know if by KO.

People forget how much damage Gattis could absorb the guy was a machine.
