A prime Gatti would beat Cotto. Because a prime Gatti went through hell for a living, going through 7 rounds of hell and then winning is Gatti's forte'. Cotto only fights 7 rounds and then gasses/runs.

Out of prime Gatti loses to Cotto no matter what.

That has no relevance as Cotto went threw hell with Torres,Corley and Malignaggi but I agree Cotto is the better fighter.

Gatti was hardly better than Pinto. He beat up on old blown up lightweights. I loved Gatti too, but come on, he was never a great fighter. Hardly a good one.

He was quite a lot better tha nPinto who really didn't do anything.

Gatti is a 2 division champ and challenger in a 3rd one.

Kelson Pinto never really fought no one till Cotto and then Phillips stopped him too.He's a LOT worser fighter tha nGatti.

How many times has the doctor stopped Gatti's fights? And Gatti's corner would never stop a fight. Hell, go watch him fight Ward, they never threw in the towel even though 99.9% of coaches would have thrown in the towel after watching their fighter become a bobble head.

Cotto could win but it wont be by KO if we are talking a prime Gatti. If we are talking about the Gatti that faced Mayweather, then it's a different story.

I see Cotto gassing and then avoiding like he always does when he faces guys who wont go down.

The doctor had to stop the Manfredy fight. Gatti's own corner stopped the Mayweather fight.

And once again, if Gatti's prime was below 140, he'd have no business (or chance) in the ring with Miguel Cotto.

no i personally do not know Duk Koo kim, but i found out about his death after mancini, but i have also seen a lot of his tapes that have never been televised.
I've also read a biography (quite rare) and i also watched a movie on him.

I just think Duk Koo Kims death greatly impacted and protected young fighters to cut fights to 12 rounds, i mean look at most of the fighters now who foguht 15 rounds before? Still quite tragic.
