If Cotto wins it isn't by KO/TKO or stoppage, I'll tell you that much. Gatti had way too much heart to be KO'd specially in his prime. In his prime he could take even more punishment then later in his career.

Cotto fights well until the 6th or 7th round. Then he gasses and doesn't do much besides avoid. If Cotto wins it would have to be by decision, no way in hell is a person who gasses after 7 rounds, going to beat a Prime Gatti by KO.

Please name the performance where Gatti would have been competitive with Cotto. And if it is at 130 or 135, it doesn't qualify in this context. For some reason some people still can't accept that Gatti was always overrated because of his exciting style.

I agree but I'd still kinda lean towards Cotto at 140 over Gatti.

You really can't see Cotto busting Gatti up both in the body and the face? Gatti may be on his feet, but the doctor or the corner stops this long before the final bell.

gatti wasnt the best skilled fighter but he fought with his heart and left it all in the ring. i said cotto would win but he wouldnt just walk all over gatti. this would be a tough fight.

How many times has the doctor stopped Gatti's fights? And Gatti's corner would never stop a fight. Hell, go watch him fight Ward, they never threw in the towel even though 99.9% of coaches would have thrown in the towel after watching their fighter become a bobble head.

Cotto could win but it wont be by KO if we are talking a prime Gatti. If we are talking about the Gatti that faced Mayweather, then it's a different story.

I see Cotto gassing and then avoiding like he always does when he faces guys who wont go down.
