If Bradley can get the decision against Witter, Dirrell most certainly can against Froch.

Dirrel will win by UD. Dirrel is a top boxer and will easily outbox Froch. But it's up to Dirrl's chin, if it holds up he will win

Dirrell is a switch hitter, but is more effective out of the southpaw stance since he's a natural lefty. His brother Anthony is probably the best prospect in 168.

But I have some doubts whether he'll receive fair officiating in Froch's home town.
I think Dirrell will win a wide decision too... I hope the officiating coordinates with what happens in the ring. I do think this tournament will be more fairly officiated because Showtime put it all together, and they have a vested interest to see it go through fairly moreso than other fights... because what happens next depends on what happens in these fights.

For instance, seeing someone who has gotten two robbery decisions in the tournament final is definitely going to hurt ratings and take away the luster of the matchup.

Calzaghe-Lacy... it's sad to see such a great fighter's career go down the drain when they get robbed of a victory they won going away... Let us have a moment of silence for the career of Jeff Lacy and what could have been.

Wasn't there a poll with similar results that had Taylor winning a UD before the Froch fight?

That thing he was 14 seconds away from winning?

Yeah... we were all so far off. Froch really proved to us that he is the much better technical boxer.

No way. I'm not dumb enough to say that Froch is a better technical fighter than JT. My point is that few expected what would happen, even the showtime text poll reflected otherwise. My point is that when you have a fighter like Froch, his plan is risky, and unorthodox. That's why he got KD in the 3rd round. That being the case, his fights are hard to predict. That was a fight Taylor should have and could have won. When it came to it, however, he lacked the tenacity. In all honesty, that left me with more questions than answers about Froch, but it also was one of the things which solidified my opinion that I'm going to expect an entertaining career out of him.

It's weird, because Froch should be a lot more entertaining than he really is... he's just so slow that it doesn't seem like he's doing a whole lot. I would be very worried if I were a Froch fan for this tournament, because it is alarming that Taylor was outboxing Froch like he was, because most people in the tournament are probably going to match up better than Taylor did against him (because they either have the chin, the will or the defense to stand up for all 12 rounds).

Anyway, sorry I jumped on you like that... I'm just used to all the Froch fans being really irritating and throwing in ****** little phrases about Froch being really, really good and how everyone else should watch out.

No worries. I mean, I'm a Froch fan, and win or lose, I'll support him. I don't see him winning this tournament. I think his workrate is something that he could actually work on amongst other things if he would LISTEN TO HIS EFFING TRAINER. Froch's main problem is that I think he tries to stick too much to the Hitman stance like Hearns... and he's NO Hearns, nor will he ever be. Froch is an excellent fighter, but not an elite. If you look at my fav. boxers in my sig, they all have huge flaws. I see Froch falling short against Arthur, I actually think AA might get the KO, to be honest, but I think that'll make him better. Just like B-hop said about Pavlik "this loss is going to make him a better fighter" My one reservation is that Froch might be a bit too old to improve his game that much. Where I disagree with you is that I actually think Froch is really entertaining. He's a fighter whom you can never count out - his punch and KO power is excellent. He's also a fighter whom you can guarantee is going to eat a sh*itload of shots, in every round, every fight.
