Carl Froch vs. Andre Dirrell

Dirrell is taking this tournament. Abraham has a small chance of hitting him with a real clean flush shot and KO'ing him with the second shot and Jermain is pretty close athleticly so that would be a good fight. Other than that Dirrell takes this home and hopefully moves up to face Dawson for my dream fight.

Stylistically, Froch is a nightmare matchup for Dirrell.

Dirrell is a runner with a suspect chin, he can't handle pressure. He ran like a scared coward in the Stevens fight and he was running from the much smaller 5'8 Oganov, bull**** stoppage in that fight, Oganov was really coming on, putting on pressure and landing shots and Dirrell was getting tired from hitting and running....Dirrell lands a combination, Oganov keeps coming and then the biased corrupt fat Yank ref stops it. Terrible stoppage.

Dirrell is faster and more skilled, but Froch is tougher, stronger, has a bigger heart and hits harder.

Dirrell can run, but he can't hide.

yea but your also forgetting the fact that froch has problems with guys that have fast hands..just look at the taylor fight..and dirrell has even faster hands than taylor and dirrell is also really good at feinting..so if anything dirrell is a stylistic nightmare for froch..and dirrel also hits harder than taylor..i see a mid round TKO/KO for dirrell

Howard Lederman called it the worst fight he had ever seen.


Dirrell has loads of talent, I just hope he doesn't blatantly put on his track shoes in that fight, because it's painful to see round after round.

If he's worried about getting hit, he's got to use his huge speed advantage to frustrate Froch, but he also has to nail him.

I just hope he doesn't get shy when the thunder comes.

anthony hanshaw is a decent fighter dirrell knocked him out in 5 rounds..taylor and dirrell are different fighters and have different styles but they both have fast hands only dirrell's are extremely fast. and they both have good jabs which also bothers froch. also i dont think dirrell is "running" away thats just his style to back up. it helps him get set with his punches
