Really? Margarito used to fight at 154. He could probably fight at 160 and be successful if he wanted to (well, could have).

I think the sizes in terms of weight are comparable. But you make a good point about him fighting at 145.

Because man, like we've been over, Oscar was a 154 pound fighter Pacquiao was a 135 pound fighter. 147 was a "meet you in the middle" agreement they had. And even then pacquiao only weighed in at 142 pounds.

The point is you guys are crying waaay to much about one pound difference for cotto. Guys like Margarito are so much physically bigger than cotto and yet can make 145 no problem. If they can do it, cotto, who isn't a big welterweight, should have no problem.

A fight between Cotto and Pacquiao is going to take place. It's amazing that this fight can even occur in the first place and yet, to some of you all you care about is that one pound. Be happy they are giving us such an awesome fight. This is truly a fight for the fans.
