I agree Larry. But it's like i've said before, Cotto has fans, Pacquiao has cult-like followers. In the Phillipines Pacquiao is like a God, a deity, unbeatable. To PR, Cotto is a guy you get together with friends, party, drink, meet people, and watch the fight from the top of your shoulder, he's not loved in PR like Tito ever was, and in fact, I think puertoricans like Juanma more to be honest ( i dont i think he's overrated ) but yeah...

first of all yes manny "pacman" paquiao is a hardcore fighter,and deserves respect..he is an atg...but you as fans dont have to come on here ****ting on other fighters to make him look better i myself have been guilty of this in the past conserning floyd i admitt it and it was dumb,dumb,dumbcotto,floyd are both great fighters and both have done what they've had to do just like pacman..actually cottos last 3 fights were much harder then pacmans last 3 fights...so ****ting on cotto makes "0" sense..he's a stand up guy and fights everyone..hell pacman fans should respect that..and floyd has jumped multiple divisions just like pacman so ya'll should respect that as well..basically what im saying is all the hate on this forum has gotten plain ******...pacman,cotto,and floyd all deserve respect rather you like thm personally or not..so lets cut the **** and appreciate what we are blessed to witness..pacman-cotto-then hopefully floyd versus the winner..thats a dream made in boxing heaven

If pac had the "guts" you claim he does he would fight Cotto at 147 and stop with the catchweight BS.

From March 2008 up to May 2009 Pac fought within this one year period at 130, 135, 140, 147 while Cotto already fighting at 147 since 2006. To say the least Cotto should fight Williams at light middleweight, not a difficult task as this was only one weight above to prove Cotto's guts. It is fair enough for you? I dont think so! So the lightweight Pac asking the true welterweight Cotto to fight at 145 had no guts? In reality Cotto weighed in usually between 145-147 on his welterweight fights and currently 146 on his last fight. So it just 1 lbs but you completely ignoring the fact that Cotto actually fighting a lightweight one year ago at welterweight (Pacman started at below flyweight if you did not know yet). NOW who has the guts?
