Oh well, Since logic is not in your brain, I'll just leave this thread
    Exactly.

Ortiz made a conscious decision not to continue he was not hindered (Vasquez) or unable.

Cotto quiting on his knee symbolises weakness.

Jermain Taylor against Carl Froch respresents him being smart and what he should of done to win the fight if he did take the knee.

      It's ******.

Cotto quitting is a matter of interpretation.

Cotto's uncle was on the mat and isn't that is an auto DQ ?

Also Cotto had given everything of himself in that fight, he was taking a knee to stop the onslaught and gather himself, much like Judah did against Cotto.

Sorry but this is one of my pet hates when people say fans should be more philosophical with fighters because the Sport THEY chose is so brutal.

Its a cop out and an excuse most of the time.

If Boxing fans were entitled to get what they are given then they would not want to buy PPV and the Sport would die through lack of interest, because they might not be getting what they want from a viewing stand point.

What are you going to do educate a whole genre of fans on what preconceived ideas they SHOULD have.

Ortiz should get a 9 to 5 job if he thinks Boxing fans are too demanding, because i know for a fact he would not be as content doing that as he is doing what he is doing, what does that tell you ?

Joe Frazier fought the way he did because he only knew one way to fight, do you think Joe would of fought more intelligently, if he had the skills of Mayweather? of coarse he would.

So again what is the stigma about a boxer quitting? Emmit Smith dislocates a shoulder and continues playing a game and he's a legend. If a boxer continues to box even when badly injured its buissness as usual. Anyone else see the hypocrisy in that?

Seriously I wish boxing was a really small sport that only a select few people liked because it seems to me that nowadays nobody apriciates the skill and just wants to see two people bash each others brains in. Go to a bar if you wana see two drunk idiots beat each other up. I watch boxing because it's the "sweet science" not because it's a human **** fight.
Boxing is 97% about race and nationality. I don't need to search your ass to find a "Mayweather = boring" thread, yet he's probably the most skilled fighter of the past decades. In fact i won't even bother to, i remember some of those. Only when someone's so good they are legends they transcend these issues, for a while at least. Boxing as long moved from sport to politics. The bigger gloves, the 4+ belts, Germany, ATG and P4P rankings including people who should never be allowed in light of achievements alone, star power and bad mouthing selling more than talent...
Sometimes people will pass good matchups to see a Hatton get KTFO in 2 rounds in a fight he never really earned. In other fight sports when you have a big fight, it's usually competitive, if it was not so, people would feel robbed and never pay for such "big" an event again. Boxing for some reason has the ability to regenerate itself so Judah and Hatton are still getting chances.

Uncle Roger should of DQ'd lil Floyd when he interfered in the Judah match.

By the letter of the law that might be right.

Before Ortiz quit you were all for fighters going out on their shields.

You routinely call fighters you don't like COWARDS and p*ssies...now that somebody you like QUIT...you're talking out the other side of that ballwasher you call a mouth.

                  You sir

                  Are a hypocrite.
