I didn't say I agreed homey, but I do understand. Like I said, I don't wanna see any fighter maimed in the ring, and that fight was ill while it lasted. I personally wasn't complainin about what Ortiz did. I was satisfied wit the combat I saw in that fight. But at the same time, I won't criticize those people that didn't like his decision. So does just about everyone elses salary in the world? You think the money a plumber makes comes from the sky? No people pay him and that still doesn't mean he is gonna risk getting killed or brain dead so he can fix your ***ing plumbing now is he?

It's one thing to put on a good give and take boxing match which the ortiz fight was but if he feels he can't go on then who the *** cares. Fighters themselves have their own preconceived ideas of what they expect of themselves. Barrera and Morales fought the way they did because of pride not just money.
