I am a pacfan but I don't understand and can't accept how people counting Cotto out... I'm a Cotto fan too and all I can say is, this fight is the toughest fight for Manny and I will give both fighters 50/50 chance...

If Pac wins, a portion of myselft will get hurt... If Cotto wins, a portion of myself will get hurt... that's all.. I'm for both fighters...maybe the only reason I want to see this fight is because I want their fighting style and how they fight tough guys... but to make prediction that one will beat another, I can't give my comment for I am a fan of both... I can only pray for their safety...

Cotto is a very good fighter. I think the main reason he gets so much slack on here is because of the way Cotto fans make him out to be the next coming of Ray Robinson...

This thread was so funny because it shows why cotto does not crumble, besides the margarito fight. Out of all those fights you mentioned..how many did he lose?? 1 N'Dou??? pleaseeeeeeeeeee that was 4 yrs ago and he won. Didn't pacman lose in that year?

          Hatton: OVERRATED
Oscar: statue, old oscar would've knocked out pacman in 4 rds if that long.
Marquez 2: We all know who won that one, plus did you see the shots that marquez rocked pacman BUT did not follow up.
Marquez 1: Did you see pacman's face?
          Solis: Featherweight fight?
          Larios: SUPER featherweight fight? Larios???

I'm sorry but mosley, clottey and margarito all beat Pacman's last 10-15 opponents. Larios??? lol Hatton??? lol

Thank you for posting that thread, it made me feel better about the cotto/pacman fight....thanks.

Zab Judah - busted up and almost did the chicken dance himself

Props to Miguel for making it this far and finding a way to win the above fights with the exception of the Margarito beatdown. In Manny Pacquiao he faces one of the very best, elite fighters of this era, regardless of the weight difference. And with the kind of vulnerabilities he's shown in the past, chances are pretty damn good that he won't make it to the final bell against the Pacman.

And no, this is not hating, as many of you will be quick to call it. I'm just analyzing the upcoming fight and calling it how I see it.

i dont hink cotto would make it past 6

pacquiao is just a different breed...

Cotto is going to destroy Pacquiao. He will knock him out by the 7th round. And knock him down three times in total

I agree with you in that some fans are blind. You'll see pacman, floyd and cotto fans who are not objective. Do i think cotto is the best ever? HELL NO, not even close. What i will say is he does NOT avoid any fighters. He might not call out any fighters but he doesn't avoid them. Noone wanted to box margarito that year and cotto did, noone wanted to box clottey and cotto did.

Pacman is a very good fighter who has risen in division and beaten many featherweights, lightweights and jumior welterweights. Floyd has fought some very good fights but tends to avoid the heart of the welterweights(margarito, clottey, mosley, etc) Is manny the fastest cotto has faced? HELL YEA, but he is also the strongest he has ever faced and is a real welterweight not a hatton. Do i think cotto will win in 1-6 rds? NO, but i also don't think pacman will win in 1-6 rds. One of these fighters will win after the 6th rd and it might be a second fight after this one. The blind cotto, pacman, floyd fans need to not post on boxingscene. It's embarrasing !

Tyson, sugar ray leonard were different breeds...look what happened. Not many fighters stay underfeated unless they fight weak fights and avoid the good ones.

You are one of the smart ones on this site, not many like you. I respect you for being honest and not dumb and embarrassing like some other ones.

This all a very biased view from one of the biggest Cotto haters in this site.

N'dou- That wasn't even close to rinning it's called boxing
Torres and Corley- true he was buzzed in both fights but he was also weight drained and came back like champ to win both of those fights by KO.
Judah-Again with your bull****, Cotto dominated Judah something the Mr. boat buyer and Clottey couldn't do.
Mosley- A very convincing win against a future hall of famer, again he outboxed Mosley in the later rounds he didn't run.
Plasterito- No need for explanation in this only a dumb nuthugger like yourself would try to use this to prove something against Cotto.
Clottey- Did what he needed to win, he had a huge gash couldn't see out of one eye yet he keep fighting when he could have easily taken the easy way out.
