Props to Miguel for making it this far and finding a way to win the above fights with the exception of the Margarito beatdown. In Manny Pacquiao he faces one of the very best, elite fighters of this era, regardless of the weight difference. And with the kind of vulnerabilities he's shown in the past, chances are pretty damn good that he won't make it to the final bell against the Pacman.

And no, this is not hating, as many of you will be quick to call it. I'm just analyzing the upcoming fight and calling it how I see it.
That's how i see it too.

The problem with Cotto he is an A-level fighter but still not the elite fight due to his stamina.

His jab and speed is underrated but there is alot of things he got to work on to become a top notch.
well said. cotto's stamina is only good for 10 rounds

I think no one is giving enough credit to Cotto... He is great fighter, probably top WW today together with Mosley.

He has fought against top oposition all the time, and lost only once (and that fight is questionable, when you think about plaster in Margarito's arms). In his last fight he fought with bad cut since third round, and still won by decision, against Judah he was hurt and cut, and he still find a way to win.

He has a good chance against Pacquiao, i think how he will adjust to speed difference will be the key, if he can overcome that, he will be fine.

And on those fights you mention he's 6-1 (asterisk) with 3 KO's.

same thing with calzaghe. yet he still gets **** right?

calzaghe's resume is better than cotto's yet people act like cotto has this amazing resume.

cotto fought solid opponents and most the guys in his division but that doesn't mean he has this incredible resume.

cotto has a very good resume for a guy his age-who could he have fought instead of the guys he did then?
