N'dou- That wasn't even close to rinning it's called boxing
Torres and Corley- true he was buzzed in both fights but he was also weight drained and came back like champ to win both of those fights by KO.
Judah-Again with your bull****, Cotto dominated Judah something the Mr. boat buyer and Clottey couldn't do.
Mosley- A very convincing win against a future hall of famer, again he outboxed Mosley in the later rounds he didn't run.
Plasterito- No need for explanation in this only a dumb nuthugger like yourself would try to use this to prove something against Cotto.
Clottey- Did what he needed to win, he had a huge gash couldn't see out of one eye yet he keep fighting when he could have easily taken the easy way out.
WHAT the hell is wrong with all these pacman, cotto, floyd fans. They throw stuff out there because they love their fighters and that's all. You are right, TOO MANY cotto, pacman, floyd haters out there. Just enjoy boxing ! None of us are in the ring. Give them their props.

If Pac wins, a portion of myselft will get hurt... If Cotto wins, a portion of myself will get hurt... that's all.. I'm for both fighters...maybe the only reason I want to see this fight is because I want their fighting style and how they fight tough guys... but to make prediction that one will beat another, I can't give my comment for I am a fan of both... I can only pray for their safety...
excellent post and that's how i feel too.

well, i guess the only one that would look good is fraud but we know he aint going in the ring against cotto

i'm a fan and i'm boricua but i don't think he's the next robinson or trinidad. i know that there's a lot fighters that might be better than cotto in some areas but cotto have a BIG HEART and he proved it against torres, corley, margarito, mosley, judah, clottey....

in fact...i thought that mosley was going to beat cotto and i was shocked when i saw that cotto was timing mosley perfectly. i was shocked when judah hurt cotto real bad with the uppercut but cotto kept coming throwing punches. i was shocked when torres hurt cotto 2-3 times but cotto kept standing up and then ko torres

that's HEART, WILL AND BALLS, my friend and there's a few fighters out there that don't have those. maybe they are faster or more skillfull fighters than cotto but guess what....cotto proved a long time ago that he's not afraid of nobody, that have what it takes to beat the best and that he's willing to go in the ring against the best unlike others fighters

What i will say is he does NOT avoid any fighters. He might not call out any fighters but he doesn't avoid them. Noone wanted to box margarito that year and cotto did, noone wanted to box clottey and cotto did.

Pacman is a very good fighter who has risen in division and beaten many featherweights, lightweights and jumior welterweights. Floyd has fought some very good fights but tends to avoid the heart of the welterweights(margarito, clottey, mosley, etc) Is manny the fastest cotto has faced? HELL YEA, but he is also the strongest he has ever faced and is a real welterweight not a hatton. Do i think cotto will win in 1-6 rds? NO, but i also don't think pacman will win in 1-6 rds. One of these fighters will win after the 6th rd and it might be a second fight after this one. The blind cotto, pacman, floyd fans need to not post on boxingscene. It's embarrasing !
By no means am I counting Cotto out, he is a real WW and will be the biggest strongest fighter Pac has ever faced. I just don't think that size is that much of an advantage as some might think.

In the history of boxing, the smaller man has had the advantages at times. I think Pac's speed and muscular build tranfers over well into that weight range. I also think that Cotto will have to be very active throughout the fight in order to keep up with the blistering pace Pacman sets in his fights.

I don't see an early stoppage by either fighter because they will both stick to their game plan and Pac will box and move all night long BUT.....

I also don't think it's to far fetched to say that Pac can hurt Cotto and some here feel as though Cotto will just absorb everything Pac hit him with like it's nothing. Remember, Cotto can be touched and believe Pac will touch him early and often.

              i can fully understand that!!!

may the best man win!! both deserve the win... and the glory.. and im excited im being part of this.... if manny wins.. i will have the opportunity to watch live the best fighter of my era.... claiming his 7 title.. (even that im not agree on that since the fight isnt taking place a=@ 147) but cant deny that is going to be just to hard to beat...

but of course... im rooting for mine.. al lthe way.. and if he wins.. im gonna have more reasons to celebrate..

but on your question.. i can fully understand why u r picking manny pac!

Very true, i think cotto will get more fast punches thrown at him than anyone except margarito who threw alot of punches. How will Cotto deal with all of pacman's punches and how will Pacman deal with the shot to the liver EVERY round. Pacman has never had someone hit him as hard to the body as cotto will and cotto has never had a fighter throw as fast as pacman.

He said himself he doesn't like to clinch, he likes to fight toe to toe, man to man, like a real fight.
