Cotto was hardly TOUCHED in the first 6 rounds, the only round he got hit "a lot" was the second round and it only took 12 minutes for his face to start swelling up like a balloon. I mean for christ sake Marg didn't even 1/3rd of his punches. Look for yourself. That sounds like Cotto had some solid defense if your opponent hit % is less than 1 out of every 3 punches are landing. ****, with numbers like that your face should never end up looking like that after a fight.

As for the Gatti pic... the guys face is made out of clay that was probably done from a jab. As per Klitchko, as stated that was from a headbutt and Lewis just opening that cut more and more and even then it was only one side of his face. Cotto's entire face was swollen that's the give away right there. Usually if your face gets demolished its only on the side you get hit more on. He wasn't hit all that much to begin with and now his entire skull is twice the size.

Finally, the weight is not an issue. This isn't like Oscar needing to drop like 13 pounds and fight at a weight he hadn't like I believe 6 or 7 years. This is a guy dropping 1 extra pound from his last fight, please stop comparing it to DLH, because its nowhere near the same level.

You watch the fight again. Tony was landing straight rights and little uppercuts on the inside all day. He landed more in the later rounds cuz Cotto's stamina betrayed him. As it usually does.

I totally agree with you. There ought to be a law that a cheater like Margarito must not plunge into commenting that relates to the sport of boxing and be banned to particpate in any boxing activities . He must stay at least 1000 meters away from any boxers or boxing arena.
