Remember I created the "Cotto is a HUGE ~~> ??" Thread
And I made infamous the vacant belt argument...

So i can honestly say, I was a critic of cotto for valid reasons.

Simply because his fans place standards on other fighters that they didnt even place on cotto... Which made me place tougher standards on cotto than I would have normally have.

I honestly feel Cotto, is the only 1 of 3 fighter right now with the skill, physical , and mental attributes to make a fight with Mayweather competitive.

But what worries me about this fight is I feel Cotto is going to chase Pacquiao around the ring which he should not do, because Pacquiao is a serious enough puncher in which he can hurt cotto.

I have always said this about Cotto.

Cotto Flaws....Of Getting HIT alot , and wasting a lot of punches, Is a flaw you can not afford to have against The Elite Fighters And ESPECIALLY a fighter like Pacquiao... and sadley enough he still gets hit too much.

    Cotto Flaws

    Swings wide,
    Waste Punches,
    has a shaky chin
Cant stop straight right hands or uppercuts,
and is under progressing in the lateral movement department.

Cotto has always had a good jab, cotto has always had good speed....Cotto is a good fighter...real good...he is a good body puncher and works hard..

    But Pacquiao, is a freak.
PACQUIAO is an offensive fighting machine who overwhelms opponents through blistering hand speed and power. His defense is somewhat suspect since he is a “hit me and I’ll hit you harder” kind of fighter, but his last fights against bigger opponents have shown that he can deflect or absorb heavy punishment.

Manny Pacquaio as of right now belongs in every catergory Floyd Mayweather
jr is in although not better than floyd yet, Manny can soon pass floyd up as the greatest fighter of this generation including Floyd if he continue doing what he is doing. Think about this, Manny Pacquaio has fought in three divisions in one year.

Manny and Floyd have both proven that "Size doesnt win fights" Smarts and Ability win fights

So with that said, I am picking Pacquiao to win.

Reason: Cotto gets hit too much !

Horus what do you think of a potential match up of a Brian Viloria vs Ivan Calderon?

Also who do you think has a better chance in beating Gamboa between Elio Rojas and Cristobal Cruz? And, why?

Who do you think would be the biggest star between Omar Henry, Charles Hatley, Shawn Porter, and Demetrius Andrade?

      Who wins Arreola-Haye? And, how?

Floyd fears a great southpaw, because his defence doesnt work agaisnt them. Paul would eat him alive, Pac could beat him and i believe Quintana would beat him because of reach and the southpaw stance. Manny has fought more great fighters in their prime.

You what the funny thing is about Ivan Calderon and Brian Viloria.
Ivan calderon would win a UD, but since he has no power he has to literally box to win fights. Every since he moved up to light flyweight he has really put himself in situations where he has to box to win/

I was actually watching Calderon Mayol fight and I honestly feel Calderon actually needs to throw more punches but since he is so small he has to be careful and very economical with his punches also like Mayweather.

With Viloria he has a good right hand, but really how effective would that be against a fighter like Calderon?????

So honestly I think calderon would beat Viloria but Calderon if he thinks he needs to be an action fighters could find himself into a brawl.

Gamboa wouldnt lose to neither cruz or Rojas, because I personally believe Gamboa raw talent is so much greater than cruz and rojas natural skill that Gamboa would knock both of them out...

I am actually rooting for Gamboa...
one of my two fighter small fighters are Gamboa and Juan Diaz...

and I hope Demetrius Andrade becomes the biggest star out of all of them...

I'm a fan of Pac and not bashing him in anyway, but he is so overhyped when it comes to his skill and resume especially on this site it's ridiculous. Just looking at some of his most notable wins...

Morales, was faded fighter by the time Pac beat him after losing their 1st fight. Raheem gave Morales a boxing lesson before the Pac fight.

Marquez, well we all know how that went down. Alot if not the majority think Marquez deserved the nod in 1 if not both fights. Marquez outboxed Pac easy.

DLH, Looked like a strung out crackhead in their fight who had not fought @ that weight in years.

I think Floyd edges him out as atg and would most definately pick Floyd over Pac if the fight ever happens

Mayweather is a good boxer and a defensive wizard but Pacquioa is an All Time Great, a living legend.
