as much as I like to see Pac go for the gold once again... I don't wanna see a division go to waste, since pac won't ever defend the titles which I don't blame him..

Though Id rather the fight be at 147, you are completely right. Anything above 140 is welterweight. According to the logic of other posters Cotto should not have even retained the belt when he beat Cottley seeing as he weighed in at 146. As long as the two fighters agree on the catchweight, and said catchweight is below the upper limit of the division, the organizing body can sanction it as a belt fight.

Let's just get the fight signed, as much as some of you may still gripe about "147-147," I agree when the other person here stated that a real boxing fan would love to watch the fight just to see how well each boxer does against their opponent. Pacquiao is a force not be reckoned with, and Miguel is the man at 147. Pac wants everyone to know that he is unstoppable and Miguel wants to show everyone why he is a true champion, so let them get this fight on! NOV 14, can't wait.

The WBO sees another opportunity to get some cash. Nuthing more than that. Cotto is a ****** sob if he accepts this with a weight limit below the ww limit. It is a ww title right? Not a catchweight title! And to all those quick to say it is still ww are denying whats fact vs fiction. If you argue, whats 1 pound? Then i'll ask u why do fighters get stripped for weighing 1 lb over the weight limit for a title fight? See how ****** that is!?

Cotto don't prove much here, but this can be historic for Pac.

Co-Sign!!! but they cant talk all that because its obvious that he did try to fight the best AND Champs @ that time before they were stripped.

LMAO, keep dreaming, he plans to retire soon, he has trouble making 147 alone.
