A matchup between these two would end up much like Vargas' match with DLH and Trinidad, with Vargas kissing the canvas. It would only prove what he truly was, a dude who wrote more checks than he could cash

The only thing he has over Cotto is power, that's it. Cotto edges him in nearly every category. They are close, and I'm sure it'll be exciting, but he'll be on the losing end like all his other big time matches

mosley doesn't have the same power at 147 as he did at 135.

mosley definitely is not close to tito's power or oscar's.



cotto's chin is not glass nor is it that bad.

neither is vargas'.

cotto couldn't handle 11 rounds of margarito's power in a fight he was winning 'til late.

vargas lasted 'til the 12 against tito's power in a fight he was beaten up in since the beginning.

fernando vargas was a really good fighter.... had he been managed correctly, he wouldve has been one of the mexican greats imo.... cotto is great as well, but vargas fought more opposition in a shorter career, after a brutal knockout loss to tito, the best at the time.... does cotto last 12 rounds with tito? 11 with prime oscar with floyd sr in his corner? does cotto beat winky wright in his prime? com'on go ahead and say it.... HELL NO!
