Is Cotto the new Vargas?

We'll see, I see Miguel having more heart and a stronger mentality than Vargas. It could have been very easy for Miguel to quit after the roughing up he endured in rounds 7-8-9 of the Clottey fight, but he didn't. He didn't fold like a tent. It tells me alot about his mental fortitude and his ability to come back.

Cotto might still have the guts to keep fighting but what happens when he gets hit by a real KO puncher? I think his mind is willing but the physical toll he took from the Margs beating will be obvious against the next elite fighter he faces. Again I like Cotto he's the kind of star boxing needs to keep the media interested but he's done. Sorry.

After watching Cotto struggle with the fringe contender Clottey I think Cotto might be finished at the highest level similar to how Vargas was done after his beating by Tito. Margs and his "special" cast might have ruined Miguel.

Clottey would beat any british hype job in his weight-class or even if Hatton moved up Clottey would beat him. Hatton is the fringe contender. Cheating ******* had to clinch all night long against Kostya.
