Kessler is better in all departments aside from power obviously. Better footwork, ring generalship, defense, combination punching and overall technique.

Kessler throws beautiful combo's where as all Wlad does is jab and jab and jab and jab and maybe, if were lucky, by sometime around the 6th or 7th round he starts to throw the right hand.

I find the green K thread is pretty much a waste of time. It takes about 50 years to get your rep up by a single point, although you gotta appreciate the green love being spread around in there and the fact that everyone tosses their differences to one side and has the best intentions in one single spot on the board.

Jay needs only one big hit and he's back in the green. Somebody will come up sooner or later and sort it out.

Kessler went 12 rounds with Dimitri Sartison. Sartison, yes in his prime, still is a terrible fighter.

Still even Wlad being overly cautious still doesn't prove that he is a smaller puncher then Kessler, which is what we are disagreeing about right?

Yet Sartison finished on the mat and was hospitalized (thankfully recovered). He took a beating out of this world. Wheter he is terrible as you say remains to be seen.

Kessler always goes for the KO and IMO (as it's always an opinion when comparing fighters across divisions) Kessler has more power. He has one-punch-ko'ed several good fighters who has never been ko'ed before.

The only worthy opponent Kessler fought is Calzaghe, and in the process he got outclassed.

And just because Kessler has never been KOed does not mean he has better defense. Wlad rarely if ever gets hit with a clean punch, that my friends shows better defense and ring generalship, there is not a single thing Kessler can do better than Wlad, except for maybe take a punch.

Wlad is the most dominant heavyweight of his division since Larry Holmes, Kessler is not even the best in his weight class.
