Pavlik is dominant but is kinda limited and lacks variation.

Valuev is dominant solely because of his size.

Kessler is the better all-rounder than Wlad. But that's OK because the heavyweight division sucks and it doesn't take a great deal of variation to put most of Wlad's opponents to sleep...

Unfortunately, the same thing happens to the audience. ZzzzzZZzzzzZZZ.

The biggest complaint about Wlad: that he's boring. This is because he is an overly-cautious fighter who lacks variation. Haye mentioned it. People on here post Photoshopped pics of fictional PS2 Wlad games called 'Dr. Boring'.

I don't know how anyone can pick Wlad in this poll. On the other hand, some of them probably just hate Kessler because of his affiliation with Calzaghe.

*Disclaimer: This is not a hate post. I don't mind Wlad, I just don't want to watch him.

I'm neither on this matter, but I still disagree. Yes the heavyweight division is weak and SW is stacked, but really Kessler hasn't fought anyone of those except for Andrade and Mundine (who is now at Middleweight). Oh and maybe Marcus Beyer since he was a player at the time.

Andrade and Mundine are on the level of Chagaev and Thompson.

Even being dominant, Wlad still is just better. He has a better jab. He has a better right hand. Wlad's defense is better. His footwork is better. The only thing that Wlad isn't better at is combination punching and having a chin.

I'm not saying it's a blowout in Wlad's favor, Kessler's a good fighter, it's just Wlad takes this imo.

Wlad should be stopping people like shot to bits Rahman is the first 30 seconds, not pawing at him with the jab for 7 rounds until he fell asleep. Tyson would have knocked Rahman into the cheap seats in the first round.

K, no worries. Let's agree to disagree. Kessler is a superb boxer, IMO. It's just unfortunate his career has been destroyed by a completely **** promoter.

                  THANK YOU

****, he couldve taken out ibragimov at any time. the minute he released his right hand this dude would crumble under the power

honestly, all jokes aside - i think wlad's really traumatized from his loses and they still haunt him. theres no other possible explanation.

Kessler went 12 rounds with Dimitri Sartison. Sartison, yes in his prime, still is a terrible fighter.

Still even Wlad being overly cautious still doesn't prove that he is a smaller puncher then Kessler, which is what we are disagreeing about right?

                      Agree.

Prime Rahman: Lewis via brutal KO 4.

Shot Rahman: Wlad via boredom T/KO 7.
