Either way it would have made no difference, Calzaghe dominated him from round 1, I remember the fight clear as day.

Name me one opponent who outclassed Wlad over 12 rounds.... I'l be waiting forever until it actually happens.

As for traveling around the world to fight fighters, what do you think Wlad has been doing for the majority of his career? The man is from Ukraine fighting in Germany, England, and United States.
But he did. I'm not making it up. It has even been confirmed on boxingscene. ****** or not. He also fought Mundine with a bad back.

    Kessler is a warrior.

And still threw the uppercut which is a punch hardly ever used by Wlad.

wow, how can Kessler be ahead? because he's more "exciting"? as in, he's easier to hit, which is why he lost the biggest fight of his life to Calzaghe?

                Kessler is more skilled.

Note: That does not mean he's the better fighter. It just means he's more skilled. He has a larger arsenal and can do many different things. You take Wlad out of his comfort zone and I'm not sure how he will adjust. Kessler can adjust.

That being said, Wlad rarely gets uncomfortable, so that says something about how good of a fighter he is.

lately, we've only seen the jab/straight right. He doesnt throw the uppercut because his opponents can never get close enough. same goes for a body attack. he dominates his opponents while barely being hit effectively (unless you count the shot Chagaev caught him with after the bell). Boxing=hitting your opponent and doing the most damage/knocking him out, without being hit. Wladimir does it almost perfectly (minus the pointless, periodic holding.) His combination of handspeed/power/ring generalship is what makes him more skilled than Kessler. I'm not knocking kessler at all.

Wladimir has more of an arsenal and more gears to go through than the jabby dominance often requires him to display. Relative to their respective sizes, it's really not that far from even, whoever you give an edge to.
