Miguel Cotto's defensive guard is his weakness vs pacquiao. He holds both of his fists to the side of his head. It the same guard as erik morales who could never block the straight left. Cotto could never block margarito's uppercuts.

Cotto's defensive guard is susceptible to straight punches & uppercuts. His guard is more geared towards blocking hooks.

Guess what Pacquiao's sunday punch is? straight left. Vs a sationary fighter like clottey cotto was lunging with hooks & was missing pretty badly. How will he deal with Pacquaio's in & out fleet of foot movement?

So Roach is demanding that Pacquiao make more money in this fight than he did for Hatton....I understand his reasoning, but it is going to be very difficult to make that happen. True, Cotto will not be getting 50-50 like Hatton, but gone from this promotion is all the English money that Hatton brought to the table and the PPV buys could be slightly less or slightly more--not a significant difference.

Let's see if that becomes a breaking point. Pacquiao has made no bones about quarreling for cash, it almost killed his DLH and Hatton fights.
