Roach/Pacquiao can ask for what ever they want from Team Cotto. Why should Pacquiao go up 4-5 Lbs from when his last fight took place? and Cotto only 3? Pacquiao doesn;t need Cotto.

Pacquiao is the one bringing in the money and plus you have another good pay day in Mosley who was actually willing to cooperate with any catchweight from 142 and above. Mosley is a GBP fighter so it;s not like the checks would be cheap, I think it would be the same or maybe slightly more.

Agree to 143 or just let Mosley take the fight who is ready and willing for even 142.

just wow all these Pac nuthuggers have no idea the affects of cuting weight. you got morons saying 1 pound is ok for a fighter. its never good to lose anything that 1 pound might be the turning point for a fighter to become weak

He'd be dehydrated as hell. I remember YEARS ago Cotto looked like a skeleton trying to make 140. Manny step up and fight him at 147 and you will get FULL credit if you beat him. Beating Cotto at a weight he is not comfortable at will not be a good win.
First of all a catchweight of 145lbs is not an unfair advantage for PAC, its because COTTO won't make the same bonehead, egotistical decision that DLH made. Come fight night PAC would be around 148lbs and Cotto will rehydrated up to 154-155lbs. Now if they are fighting for the welterweight title, then PAC should fight him at 147lbs. Whether they fight between 145-147lbs and PAC wins he will get full credit if he wins. You stated that Cotto is not comfortable at below 147..well how do you think PACQUIAO will be above 145lbs. Cotto and DLH are two different fighters, Cotto can still pull the trigger, where DLH couldn't, plus COTTO will rehydrated properly. Regardless if they fight at 145 or 147, I like PAC'S chances. Remember Cotto was at 146lbs at the weight in vs Clottey.

Hey MORON, if your an idiot like DLH and let ego get the best of you, then yeah you would be ****in dehydrated. They have over 24hrs to rehydrate properly. When one guy is naturally bigger, and rehydrate properly they will be much bigger come fight night. You morons that are talkin about weight drained is because DLH didn't rehydrate properly, he thought just like alot of people that doubted PAC, that DLH can beat PAC even if he stays close to pacquiao in weight come fight night. Obviously, DLH found out the hard way.
