Mosley should fight him,it is better than sitting around waiting for Cotto ,Pac or May. If he puts a whoopin on Clottey than I'd say he has definitely earned the #1 WW spot. That is unless the Cotto fight gets made and they can really settle it.

In a perfect world, I'd have Berto vs. Clottey, Williams vs. Mosley, and Mayweather vs. the winner of Cotto vs. Pacquaio.

I like the idea of fighters even when coming off close decision losses being able to land a big fight right after. Clottey still has not been clearly defeated by anyone. He is still ranked ahead of Berto and has looked better than him in last couple fights. A win over Berto does nothihng for Mosley besides get him a belt that he doesn't want to defend against mandatories. He just just fight Clottey and make a statement that way by beating him more decisive than anyone else has.

He's coming off a loss and brings no Money/Fans to the table, why on earth would Mosley who isn't a big draw himself take a fight for little money against him?

This fight seems like a step backwards for Mosley when you stop to think about it. After Shane obliterates Margarito, Arum has got to toss him Clottey of all fighters. The fight with Margarito was seen as dangerous, but at least Mosley got some money out of it.

Mosley vs. Clottey scares me, I thought the Mosley that showed up for his last fight was almost perfect. I would like Clottey to face Mosley, but not right now, I feel like Berto is the perfect match for him at this time. Mosley vs. Berto is a fight I wouldn't mind seeing, but I think Clottey deserves it more.
