Agreed that makes best sense. I think he should take Berto instead of WIlliams. However I would love to see Williams in the ring with Mosley I feel Mosley wouldnt come out with a W. I like the guy and think he should take Berto and winner of Pac Cotto

How does fighting Clottey, who just came off a lose better then fighting a unification match with the WBC champion? Williams needs to stay out of the welterweight div no one wants to fight him just campaign at 154-160

Clottey brings no fans/title or money to the table, plus he's coming off a loss. It's going to be real hard for him to get a fight against any of the top guys anytime soon, maybe he can fight Cintron or Sergio Martinez.

I like the idea of fighters even when coming off close decision losses being able to land a big fight right after. Clottey still has not been clearly defeated by anyone. He is still ranked ahead of Berto and has looked better than him in last couple fights. A win over Berto does nothihng for Mosley besides get him a belt that he doesn't want to defend against mandatories. He just just fight Clottey and make a statement that way by beating him more decisive than anyone else has.

Man Pacquiao-Mosley would be a better war than Cotto-Mosley.
              Guranteed!

And I wonder when HBO would allow this fight to take place. They are being tight wauds as it is. They are making Hopkins sit out until 2010 and the Dawson-Johnson rematch probably won't happen until November.

I think cotto is talented but there putting the welterweight division to shame by fighting guys that are moving up about to weight class's to fight them. **** the klits might as well start picking on the WW. See how they like it
In what way fighting Mosley than Pacman is better for Cotto.
Pacman brings more money and recognitiona this moment than Mosley can bring or did you forget that Mosley has been already beaten by Cotto.

Cotto has nothing to prove to anybody in boxing. He has fought the riskiest fighter in WW and he's giving the boxing fans action, entertainment and even lots of blood in most of his fights. if he now decides to go for the money, while still providing excitement, action and even more blood i'll be one of plenty boxing fans that will be buying the PPV. In the meantime Shane should start seriously thinking about accepting this fight because he's at risk right know to fight a midlevel WW during what's left of the year because besides Paul williams and Clottey that's what's available, class B- or class C boxers. Being Berto the only Class B-

                    At this moment that's just a plan B, Plan A is Pacman-Cotto and Plan C is Mosley-Cotto

yep....i keep saying mosley will fight berto, as i see now way in **** he steps in the ring w/ PW.....clottey doesn't bring enough $$$ to the table, so scrap that. that leaves berto.

arum knows this **** aint gonna happen, he's just trying to "act" as if he's seriously pursuing a big fight for clottey b/c he owes him.....especially after the "Madison Square Mishap" we witnessed last weekend. bottom line is, COTTO, owes clottey another fight.
