The only thing that makes this look kind of like a dangerous fight for Shane is the fact that Clottey's style is kind of similar to Winky Wright's. Shane just couldn't break through Winky's earmuffs in those fights.

Lol, Arum an idiot. Arum is a cum laude Harvard Graduate, something you could never do in your lifetime.

So, I take it that Arum won't make any effort to get this fight done until the Pacquiao-Cotto match up is finalized. We know that could be a little while.

Mosley fighting Clottey makes no sense at all, he's the man in the Welterweight division. Why would he fight a guy who is just coming off a loss? He should fight Berto or Williams if he can't get Manny,Cotto,Floyd.

I'd rather see Mosley give Paul a shot too, but Berto's name shouldn't even be mentioned. Even as a fan of Shane, I've been kind of turned off by his recent clinching tactics. Could you imagine a Berto-Mosley fight? That would make one of Ruiz's fights look like fight of the year.

Finallly somebody mentions this as a possibility.

If you look at several of my previous posts in threads discussing who should fight each other between Cotto, Mosely and Pacquiao I suggested a Mosley-Clottey fight and nobody replied to that thought, even though i posted on 3 different threads.

Now it appears that it could actually have a chance. The reason i suggested this, is simple. Mosley can not stay inactive until next year. With PBF injured and Pacman-Cotto about to be signed the only fighters out there that he can fight this year and can raise his standing is Clottey and Paul Williams. If he fights any body beside these 5 fighters (Cotto,Pacman, PBF, Joshua or Paul Williams) he will not gain nothing at all even if he ko's his oponent. We all know that he won't fight Paul Williams therefore his only option is Clottey sometime in October in order to put him in the position to fight either the winner of Pacman-Cotto or PBF-JMM, that's if the winners of these 2 fights don't decide to fight each other, which i would think that every body would want that to happen.

At this moment Mosley's future to land a Mega fight before mid 2010 is not good. He should take this Clottey fight before Clottey actually decides to go after Paul Williams, and if that happens Mosley's future will be worst than not good. A fight with Berto i really doubt it would even make it to PPV and if he wins he will not gain any recognition because Berto has not proven himself against as a real threat in boxing.

I like Mosley, he's a true gentlemen outside the ring and a warrior inside the ring, but if he doesn't what to fight Paul Williams his only other option is Clottey and the clock is ticking.

Makes more sense than fighting Berto and we all know that he doesn't want to fight Williams.

The thing is, I think Paul Williams brings even more money to the table than Clottey does. I guess I could be wrong though.

The money is with PW! Simple and plain. The most change comes with the most risk and POSSIBLE loss. But not a guaranteed loss though! Looks like he may have to take that fight!

If I was Mosley I would tell Arum to go f**k him self... Fight Andre Berto in the fall then go after Mayweather in early spring
