oscar wasn't even weight drained in the pacquiao fight.

he was around 147 weeks before the fight.

oscar screwed up. had nothing to do with the weight class.

now everyone talks about weight drained in every fight now.

just like after the hatton-mayweather fight , every know nothing idiot kept bringing up check left hooks in every fight prediction.
If he wasn't drained then why did he weight 148 fight night?

No stoppages I think Pacquiao is gonna get caught with some good counters and go down because he cant atke the power
margarito Koed Cotto..and Shane and Clottey werent able to KO Cotto coz they didnt land that much.. I bet Pac's speed, work rate and punches landed would KO Cotto..

I think it will be 60/40 at 144 of course Las Vegas MGM Grand. I don't think that any fighter wants to fight Cotto at MSG anymore seeing how he got two gifts there already.

Roach says Mosley vs Pacquiao would generate more money than Cotto vs Pacquiao, but Cotto is the easier, slower, more hittable opponent of the two. The Pacman wins by TKO in what ever round he wants.

gotta agree..I would love the fight to take place in MSG..a place rich in history..a fitting place for a historical achievement that Pac is chasing..his 6th(7th) weight class title..

The real reason Oscar got annihilated is because he can't fight southpaw's, especially super fast ones. The weight excuse is total BS as far as I'm concerned.

                  that's not weight drained.

weight drained is cutting way too much weight.

                  oscar didn't cut weight.

he did worse than cutting weight. he went on that crazy kangaroo diet.

i remember he was like 150 already weeks before the fight.

i don't know what to call it. over dieted? over trained? under weight?

                  he screwed himself up.

i think he thought he was gonna win easily so he tried his best to make himself weigh as light as possible so people won't discredit the win by saying he was too big for pacquiao.

if he had just cut weight to 147 for the scales and blew back up to 160 fight night , he would have looked much better.

i think that's what he meant when he was interviewed by larry and said , "i only have myself to blame."

One fighter is going to have to sacrifice to the point where it's not going to be a fair matchup. Either Cotto is going to have to cut too much weight, or Pac is going to be fighting at a weight where Cotto will be too big and strong for him.

This matchup is a result of Arum's greed. Cotto should be rematching Shane, while Pac takes on Floyd. Winners of those 2 bouts should face eachother.
