people underestimate manny, he could be nearly as strong as miguel and isnt much shorter. if he can take cotto's punches, then i think manny will win. he is faster, better endurance, better defence, and im a cotto fan. i think it would be a great fight but closer than what people are going to say. cotto would knock out ricky but i dont think he could as badly as manny did, then again no one probably could.

although i'm a huge fan of both fighters, i'm not the slightest bit interested in this matchup. One fighter is going to have to sacrifice to the point where it's not going to be a fair matchup. Either cotto is going to have to cut too much weight, or pac is going to be fighting at a weight where cotto will be too big and strong for him.

This matchup is a result of arum's greed. Cotto should be rematching shane, while pac takes on floyd. Winners of those 2 bouts should face eachother.

u dont like that matchup but then what if they win their respective bouts. Would u still dislike it? I dont like this matchup either, cotto and pac have unfinished business with their rivals. More so for cotto he possibly has 3 trilogies on his hands ( marg, shane, clottey)

after giving it alot of thought, i think pacquiao can beat cotto.at first i thought it would be a mismatch with cotto destroying him.but cotto seems to be a different fighter now.he boxes more and even when it appears he has his opponent hurt or dazed, he backs off of them.i personally think he has stamina issues.if zab judah had more heart he could have beaten cotto. I use him as an example because he is a southpaw and quick like pacquiao.pacquiao will have that quick in and out attack.he has the quicker hands and feet.if he gets cotto hurt, he will go after him and finish him.it'll be a good fight, but it will be different from what people think. Cotto has alot of heart and always find a way to win. But with the exception of his fight before clottey,he does not win convincingly.maybe that's because his opponents are a and b class fighters.but pacquiao, according to the experts,is suppose to be the best fighter alive right now.i see a pacquiao victory.

good point but what i noticed is when pac has his guy in trouble he gets wreckless. He also lunges when throwing at times, cotto must have his timing on point. I dont know if miguel still dont watch films but the pac/jmm and pac/morales 1 fights will be some good homework.

pacquiao is not winning this fight.cotto is a survivor and his speed is underated.what people dont know is that clottey is an excellent fighter and no one looks good against clottey.if pacquiao took this fight because he thinks cotto is shot he will find himself with some broken ribs.

There is no way cotto will lose,if it matters he will go to the balls or rabbit punch or do something that will slow manny.this will be zab judah-cotto 2,mark my work,a terrible beating for manny.

u damn right thats like no1 looked good against winky in his prime even if he lost. But most people are judging cotto too much on this fight. Clottey never been kd b4 cotto and never has been close to being hurt or dominated. I laugh how clottey was being praised for his effort fighting marg with 1 hand but cotto gets ****ted on and he fought clottey with 1 eye and went the distance.
