He appears to be likable, a stand up guy for the most part except for beaten up his uncle. but with all that said....he lost that fight on Sat.

Now I know most say clottey didn't do enough in the championship rds, but I think he did. He chased a fleeing Cotto for last 2 rds. If clottey didn't land nothing, Cotto sure as hell didn't. he was a hurt and fatigued fighter who fled for his life the last 2 rds. So let's be clear, that wasn't ring generalship...that was buying time and clottey won that fight!

If u belive that than ur just a hater. Listen son, buying time is what clottey did chasing cotto the last 2 rnds but not trowing any punches just to make it look like was the agressor, looking at the ref. & making any little foul a drama to DQ cotto that's pitaful just like u. What cotto did towards the end is boxing, every great knows that when ur in trouble u use ur boxing skills & feet to survive, & cotto was introuble since the sopposedly accidental headbutt. Look u son of the mailman don't act like u know boxing cuz u don't if cotto wanted he couldve let the doc stop the fight & pick up an early win but than u rly wouldn't shut up huh u ****ing hater. Remember it's one thing to run (running to survive with out engaging in combat) & boxing to survive( backing up using ur gloves,feet & ring to come out victorios) like he did. Watch the fight again but with out the hate & I bet ull c it diff.

Cotto showed some cojones vs clottey, but they sure need an upgrade in the corner hell even the cutman. i would love to see nacho train cotto for the pacquiao fight

I forgot to stop drinkin! Yo, manny steward was killin me. If you listenen to him, you woulda though cotto was fighting like a girl. He thought everything cotto threw was blocked and clottey waslighting him up at will. Cotto was slipping and blocking quite a bit, specially in the first 6. He changed his style cuz he couldn't see, no mention of that from manny.

Hate goes one way, most Mexican fans don't hate PR fighters and Nacho is about making money. I guarantee if Cotto contacted Nacho, Nacho would take him on. If that were to happen, we would see a 100% better Cotto, guaranteed.

He could go and live in Mexico City for a few months and see how they train down there. It would never happen though but it would be something interesting to think about.

Cotto is a tough SOB. You can maybe question his skills (which i think is dumb) but you cant question his toughness!!!! I never questioned it even when he got beat by Margarito!

I like Cotto I just don't think he's as good as some people here are making him out to be. He's already hit legend status in PR and I dont' think he's anywhere close to that to be honest with you. He is a tough guy though, can't take that away from him.
