u said american fighters ruled simply cuz the USSR fighters didnt compete as pros. i simply stated that the fighters who ruled as pros, frazier, foreman and ali. all ruled as amatures, and beat the USSR fighters in the olympics.

1) Why should anyone care that a cruiser (Ali, Olympics 1960) won against Zbigniew Pietrzykowski (Poland) by points?
2) You should rather care that at HEAVYweight (at the same Olympics 1960) east Europe beat USA (Josef Nemec vs Percy Price)

Wlad and vitali should retire, and let the younger guy's reign.

I'm not a klitschko fan but I respect them.the division needs them but I do think vitali should give up his title so his brother can unify them.wlad is younger & enjoys fighting & training that is why he dominates the division now.he still boxes because he enjoys it & $$$$ isn't an issue unlike American boxers.most are broke & fight to survive to feed their families.most American heavies don't have much outside of boxing so they hang around.just ask Holyfield.400 million & he's broke.

I don't want to defend Holyfield here, but it may be that he is broke because of US divorce laws and not because of actual active wrongdoing.

Good point our divorse laws in Canada hugely favor the women even if they are complete failures in life.Holyfield has 9 kids with several women & he use to throw his $$$$ around with failed buisness adventures & Tyson blew his on **** except for 100million legal fees.If you can find it sports illustated printed his spending habits about 5 years ago.he had made almost 350 million in like 5 years.I recall 17 gift cars(150000 each),2million on pigeon feed yes! I don't get all the Wlad is "boring" BS. He has 2 boring fights because he had to be cautious and the other fighter didn't engage him anyway. That shouldn't take away from all of his (Wladimir's) highlight reel KO's...

Wlad was just as hated when he was a pure brawler before Manny molded him into a complete and one of the most dominant fighters in history. That version of Wlad was just as hated as he is now and there's NO way any true boxing fan could have found pre-Manny Wladimir, "boring". So his haters hate either because of his race and/or ethnicity. Usually the same people that hate Wlad also hat Hatton, Calzaghe, Vitali and even Mesi when he looked like he had potential, so it was more then just not being American IMO.
