How is 144 a weight drained Cotto? 3 lbs is nothing to cut for a fighter.

But IMO Pac shoudl fight Cotto at 147 to legitimize his win if it happens. Cotto is not a big WW and Pac is not that much smaller than him. Half inch in height and maybe 6 or so pounds.

Cotto and Pac are members of Top Rank, why wouldn't Arum be promoting his guys first? Personally I would like Pac to fight in this order: Cotto, Mosley and PBF for last.
i think pac is only gona fight 2 more times then retire, i would rather see pac vs cotto and mayweather no mosley, but i would also like to see cotto vs mosley rematch now, and mayweather mosley would b good 2

da difference is cotto has been fighting legit 147 prime welters, and cotto will come in around 160 fight night, pacquiao will come in at 145-147

Salud said Pacquiao should be generous enough to grant Cotto a “30 percent” cut on the total pot “based on Cotto’s recent performance.”

LMFAO...... doesn't matter how bad you looked, what matters is how many people see his fights. 30 percent??? ***en pinoys, ahhaha

If he signs to fight at a Catchweight..they will STIPULATE that Cotto not enter the ring over 147lbs.

              JUST WATCH.

They will control Cott's weigh-in and his RING WEIGHT.

              JUST WATCH.
Man, show the proof where they controlled Oscars fight night weight or just be quiet.

I've posted it before, if this fight is at a catchweight under 145, Cotto will lose badly by knockout in the mid rounds. From 145-147, this will be a Vazquez-Marquez level fight, where it's tit for tat until someone gets stopped.

To the idiots that have never fought in a sport where they had to cut weight in their lives, talking **** about how Cotto being able to cut 3 or 4 pounds no problem, do some research tools.

Pacquiao is taking credit away from his own victories by belittling these guys in the lead up to the fight. And if he thought Clottey won, why don't he fight him instead?

So I guess PAC fighting in 4 different weight classes in about a year and a half is easy.....Lmao... I guess losing 3 or 4 pounds for Cotto is too much to ask for...

LOL! Tell that to Campbell, Guzman, Corrales, and Castillo. Ridiculous statement. The last thing boxing needs is a fighter coming into a fight weight drained, and if Cotto doesn't think he can get below 145 without being weight drained, only someone who is not a fan of boxing would want him to try.

There are too many weight divisions as it is, without adding bull**** catchweights. If Pac doesn't think he can beat Welterweights at the Welterweight limit, he should fight Jnr Welterweights.
