I'm a Pac fan but i completelly disagree ith this guy saying fighting Cotto in a Catch weight is a "walk in the park." Thats kind of premature prognosis isn't it?! It will be a Tough and hopefully an Exciting fight till it last.

Didn't Cotto already say that his health comes 1st and that he won't fight below 147? If this fight is at atleast 145, Cotto takes him out before the 3rd round ends. Besides the 40 yr old dehydrated DLH, Pac has never fought anyone above 130 even close to the skill level n power of Cotto. For Gods sake Cotto is the same man that gave Mosley a boxing lesson n has taken n walked through huge punches from guys much bigger n stronger than Pac.

I've been kind of harsh on Cotto since that fight with Clottey, but I'm willing to give him some slack when it comes to certain things. But my criticism of him will stick when it comes to certain things as well. He has fought all the top guys at 147 except for Paul Williams. But the thing I don't like is the fact that he shows no interest in granting rematches with Clottey or Mosley. Mayweather got back in the ring with Castillo after that controversial decision and Cotto should be held to the same standard. I understand he could've quit with that bad cut over his eye, and instead decided to keep fighting, and that deserves respect. But that doesn't mean he showed A-level heart. He was cut in his bout with feather-fisted Oktay Urkal and he fought like a bull because of the opponent in front of him. In this fight he ran like a ***** because he knew what his limitations were.

It doesn't matter how many weight classes Pacquiao jumped, save that for when you are building his case for Pacquiao's place on atg lists.
Pacquiao already established himself as the best 140 pounder so **** all the jumping weight class talk. If he wants to fight the best welterweights, he needs to man up like he has in the past and fight good/great fighters without bull**** stipulations designed to make them walking zombies or go fight Valero or Bradley for less money.

for a fighter who already tested himself at the WW limit, it's a shame to have to force a catch weight. just fight Cotto at 147, i think Pac is a live fighter @ 147. if everyone is saying it's not a big deal for Cotto to drop, why is such a BIG deal for Pac to gain a few more lbs. especially when he just fought at that weight, and looked great!
