I first seen Clottley fight when he was fighting in the UK and i always thought he was a dirty fighter. I predicted before this fight the Cotto would win on points but that he would definately get cut by a headbutt. I'm glad Clottley blew it cos everytime i've seen him fight he always uses his head.

DQ for constantly & blantantly headbutting Baldomir.
No contest for headbutting Martinez & opening a huge gash.
Almost DQ for constantly headbutting Gutierrez and should have been DQ.
Consecutive warnings in Margarito fight for blantant headbutts.
Technical decision over Judah for headbutt.
Finally headbutting Cotto to open a huge gash to give himself a chance of being in the fight.

Everyone saying look at both men's faces at the end of the fight but Cotto's face was a mess from the cut caused by a butt and other than the cut he wasn't really marked up anywhere else. My main point though is do you really think all those headbutts and leaning with the head are accidental cos i certainly don't.

And I don't know why all of a sudden, but Max Kellerman is really starting to win me over as a fan even though I used to not like the guy. He told it how it was and didn't suck Cotto's **** like Lampley did. I wanted to punch that wife beater in the face because he sounded so arrogant with Clottey during the questioning of him. Asking him if even though he thought he could get a fair shake going in, does he still think that. And it looked like Lampley was grinning while he was asking it. This guy needs to go. He's always for the house fighter.

Bull**** article, the man whooped that ass with a cut on his eye losing blood since the 3rd round and Clottey bitching about every single thing didn't helped neither.

Author is a ****ing biased ****.

Lampley was biased towards Cotto big time, he would often say "nice combo by Cotto!" even thought they were blocked by Clotteys guard.

Like I said, I was rooting for Cotto but had it 114-113 Clottey, It should have been a draw in my opinion, nobody deserves to have a L after that fight

Clottey pulled A LOT of Slick moves to get out danger which were illegal

Cotto also low blowed Clottey and hit him in the back of the head without getting a SINGLE warning....

i think it was a draw but that card was bs but that is not what iam concern about its Cotto i think he is on his way to being shot after the nomas fight Cotto is not the same he better stay far far away from Marg. i seen many fights over the years and Cotto has the signs of a fighter whos done

And I know a lot of the Cotto fans just automatically assume that just because someone isn't for their boy they are a Floyd Mayweather fan or a nuthugger. That's not the case with me at all. I just never viewed Cotto as a threatening opponent for Floyd. And after witnessing this decision that went in Cotto's favor, that sure rubs me the wrong way about this upcoming fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather. I think Marquez is in the same position that Clottey was. He has to stop Mayweather because he will not get a decision.

yeah i know.but it doesn't have to be accurate to show who the real winner is. just by watching the fyt, clottey definitely was the one throwing and landing the harder punches.
