Margarito and Cotto sold out the MGM in a recession.

          Not even close bud.

The attendance was 10,477 and the gate was "a touch under $3 million," according to Arum.

And it was hot as hell in july. I didnt even want to step outside the hotels to walk the strip only at night though. .

And legit fans bought tickets not ticket brokers to then sell them off.

Yeah, July is a slow month for Vegas since it's so hot... well the summer in general.
People wont come out here because they aren't used to the heat.
The ones that do usually end up walking around looking like lobsters because somehow they thought they weren't going to need sunscreen in a desert.

It was 300 dollars on ticketmaster, And i was only showing people that ticket can still be available weeks or days before a fight and still sold out by fight night

it's true what the article says.. I just went on ticket master and tried to buy ten tickets sat all together and the only price range that wasn't available for this was the $150 ones.
from $300 to $1000 you could buy ten tickets all sat together which means there are still tons of seats which have not been sold.

Had Floyd not talked himself up with all this "Mr.cash cow" of boxing talk, I would actually feel bad. The only one I feel sorry for here is Marquez. A true warrior who is coming into this fight with a big disadvantage, and someone we can count on to still give everything he's got and put it all on the line for himself and boxing fans worldwide!

If ticket and ppv sales fall far short, it could be a good thing. Floyd will have to lower his demand for the Pac fight, therefore making it very possible to happen.
