Wow that is dissapointing.. I'm sure they will pick up in a couple of weeks with the premier of the 24/7 series...

      Are the prices outrageous?

That's not true, Alpha Omega already bought them all. He is Floyd's number 1 fan, he wants to see Floyd all for himself in Vegas. He told me if he buys all the tickets, that Floyd would notice him because he will be the only fan there since he bought all the tickets. Tickets are sold out thanks to him.

Go to ticketmaster.com, all the cheap seats are sold out (I am sure taht is more then 1000, although maybe brokers bought them but still they are sold tickets none the less). Also when you look at the best seat in each section it is obvious that quite a few are sold.

Way more than that have been sold, all of the less expensive seats have been taken, the ones that they are having trouble selling are the most expensive and ringside ones.

The biggest losers on this fight will be the promoters.

It’s very conceivable that Golden Boy and the respective Mayweather and Marquez promotional companies, who like all promoters had to pay the purses on a PPV fight – are going to lose their proverbial butts on this one. The fighters also lose, too, because their contracts include a percentage of the PPV revenue.

Sorry, but there is no way in hell anybody who speaks only Spanish gives a darn about Mayweather, and in my humble opinion we’ve seen way too much 24/7 of all the Mayweather’s, especially Floyd Jr.

But Mayweather Jr. probably demanded it, and HBO invested the money just to make him happy, not to mention it’s a good way to suck up to “Pretty Boy” just in case he does grow a set of cajones and fights Pacquiao somewhere down the line. (I’ve already predicted he won’t).

Bottom line here, Mayweather is throwing around HBO money like the dollar bills he tosses around at strip clubs and he is getting away with it.

Nevermind what you are reading elsewhere that Mayweather is boxing’s true reality star and that we can hardly wait for HBO’s 24/7 to begin. That’s just more sucking up to HBO and Mayweather by the Fat Man.

The numbers speak for themselves and right now the dismal ticket sales are pointing to Mayweather vs. Marquez being one of the biggest PPV busts of all time.

                  LOL.

But im positive they have surpassed 1,000. they probably have about 9k sold by now at most.

Im guessing about 10,000 to 12,000 on fight night.

Remember, 9,000 people paid to see him fight Baldomir. Marquez has a very large and loyal fanbase. Im sure this fight sells better then the Baldomir fight

Ouch, if true....but there is a recession going on. So good numbers aren't to be expected....but not having surpassed 1000 tickets yet? Damn. This won't be good for Mayweather in negotiations with Pacman if sales don't go up soon.
