My point is Before they Fought DLH Cotto Drew More. Now. FLoyd has always said that Cotto is not a big anough draw. Well ny his standar he wasnt ether when he faced DLH and Hatton, and they still faced him.

if Cotto mad 450k+ PPVs against margarito, can you imagine what a FLoyd fight or a Pacquiao fight will do???

before oscar floyd was still more popular than cotto ..cotto was making a name for himself..i say the cotto now has the drawing power of floyd pre oscar..cotto needs floyd or pacman to reach super star static..cause oscar and hatton are gone

Mayweather vs Cotto would do 800K I believe. Mayweather doesn't know what he is talking about, I still want Cotto out of Top Rank, he'll do alot better. Arum didn't do such a good job with Mayweather, Mayweather couldn't even sell out in his own home town, he became alot more sucessful after his split. I just think Cotto should buy out of his contract, Arum is bad people as we've seen.

no it isn't. Take all of cotto's ppv fights and including margarito and average them and it'll be less than floyd's average ppv minus hatton and oscar!

1. hell No at the bold. Cotto sold out twice MSG, and he have the atteendace record at MSG plus mad 440, PPV buys, while Floyf biggest one was 378K and he could not even sol out a Arena in his hometown.

Im not a big "You have to be a big PPV draw to get a fight", but After doing some reading and stuff, I realiza mayweather is not that big a of a draw.

The dude Biggest PPV Number Without DLH and Without Hatton is 365K. The fans that tune in to watch Mayweather-DLH was becaise they wanted Floyd to get beat nothing more. And the Hatton-FLoyd FIght, well FLoyd had some of DLHs stardom, plus Rickys Army of fans.

This **** gets played out to much by him, his team and his nuthuggers in NSB.

Manny is in the same bout, Tale away his fights with the 2 biggest CashCows on tehir sport and his bigest PPV nmber is like 370K I believe. If Im wrong Correct me.

After Fighting and Hatton and DLH now they ae big draws, because they took that stardom form thise 2 guys who have a Huge ARMY of Fans.

The thing is Cotto in his fight Margarito landed 440,400 PPV buys. He sold out MSG 2 and having a attendance record at MSg in his fight with Judah.

Then you have Margarito, who sold out and have the biggest crown ever at Staples. So I think he have a say on teh matter too.


SO why all of this Mayweather and Pacquiao has been bigger draw, when Cotto have had equal or better succes at selling., When not talking DLH or hatton?

I think if Cotto would of fought this 2 guys(Hatton and DLH) he would of been a bigger Draw than manny and Floyd. And Margarito too.

cotto/margo played off the PR-Mexico rivalry tho.

margo sold out staples cause he was riding high on the cotto quittage and mosley is a great opponent that always delivers action fights.

yeah it would do that much now, but not back in 2007!!! After the july 18th we'll see how things play out!
