You have to give credit to May and Pac because both became big stars after fighting Oscar as far as Pay per View. Other fighters didn't such as Mosley, Hopkins. They didn't become huge PPV attractions even though they were both P4P #1 at one point or another.
Thats asinine. How I will give them Credit for becoming a huge star after figgting DLH. DLH made them stars, thats My hole Point. Take DLHS fight away and they dont sell More than Cotto. Ofcourse they will now if tehy fight each other!!!!!!

I'm not saying Cotto isn't a draw because he is. It takes 2 regardless, 1 man can't successfully do great numbers, although Mayweather did really good numbers against Zab, Gatti and Baldomir.

Cotto fighting on free HBO against Clottey is a GREAT thing, more people will tune in to watch his next fight depending on how well he performs against Clottey. He'll be a much bigger draw after Clottey (Just has to perform well).

Your right that Floyd and Manny were no bigger draws than Cotto before they fought Oscar.

BUT, that doesn't change the fact that they did fight Oscar. Fighting, and beating Oscar makes you a big draw. So the fact is that Floyd and Pac are now bigger draws than Cotto. They got it done on a huge stage and are now superstars. Cotto hasn't gotten that big stage yet.

I meanCotto vs Margo did 440K+ PPV buys. FLoyd biggest prior to DLH was 365K against Gatti!!!!!!!!!

Im just saying that this 3 guys are about the same level of drawing power!!!!!!
HOW U GON TAKE OSCAR AND HATTON OFF ESPECIALLY HATTON WHEN HE HADN'T FOUGHT ON PPV BEFORE FLOYD. IF YOU GON TAKE OFF OSCAR AND HATTON. THEN U GOT TO TAKE OFF MARGARITO.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, COTTO'S HIGHEST PPV SALE IS 440K AND MANNY IS 1.25M AND FLOYD IS 2.5M!!! THAT IS SUBSTANIALLY HIGHER ppv SALES COMPARED TO COTTO

My point is Before they Fought DLH Cotto Drew More. Now. FLoyd has always said that Cotto is not a big anough draw. Well ny his standar he wasnt ether when he faced DLH and Hatton, and they still faced him.

if Cotto mad 450k+ PPVs against margarito, can you imagine what a FLoyd fight or a Pacquiao fight will do???

Mayweather vs Gatti was Gatti's 1st PPV and it was Mayweather selling the fight, where as Gatti was a no show at most of the conferences. He did good numbers against Gatti, Badomir and Judah and those namers are nothing compared to Morales, MAB and JMM...what does that tell you? He is a DRAW!

Fraud jr & his nut huggin friends like to add a couple of thousands to their ppv buys.

Fraud jr's true test of ppv power was baldomir & judah. Now with the marquez fight. The fact that he's american & he only outsold Pac vs hatton by less than 100k in a bad economy says a lot about Pacquiao's (who isnt american, doesnt live in america & can barely speak english while at the same time not a flashy personality) drawing power.
