Its pretty interesting but dont you think he contradicted himself by saying,"ohh we sat with bob arum and begged him for the fight", but then towards the end he says,"he brings nothing to the table". Which one is it, Floyd wanted to face him before but he doesnt want to face him now thats all I got from that interview And the Cotto from Now is way better then the cotto from before.

Back then Floyd wasn't Money Mayweather the cash cow, so it would have made bigger sense, the thing people fail to see, or accept is that FLOYD is a STAR beyond boxing. Back then he was just a boxer, now he is a star that happens to box. So, he's looking for fights with the biggest attraction possible with the biggest money possible, you can't do coach once you've been first class. The difference is he has BIGGER threats IN his division.

Mosley is a bigger threat than JMM.

Cotto is a bigger threat than Hatton.

Williams is a bigger threat than all of them.

I think Cotto is the same amount of threat as hatton, but bigger. If bigger in size equates to bigger in threat...then i guess you got me there. But at the end of the day, Cotto don't bring hatton $$$ and the perception whether true or not is that Hatton was regarded higher at the time. And that is fact!

Floyd did call Cotto out and Arum said he did`nt feel Cotto was ready back then.And when Arum wanted to make the Cotto fight,floyd heart wasnt in boxing at that time that`s why he retired.But he has Cotto on the list that he gave to golden boy of the fighters he wants to fight.

And Cotto never called Floyd out even when Larry Merchant asked Cotto to call Mayweather out.
