Cotto must not be an elite fighter... He should of found a way to dig deep and win a couple more rounds.

I watched the Zab fight again this morning and it was obvious after a few rounds Zab didnt have an answer for Clottey, couldnt really get past his defense but Clottey still refused to throw more punches to really separate himself. Ive been trying to give/look for a way for him to win this fight which seems it will have to come on the quality of his punches, he is pretty accurate but he would rather work off of you.

Its hard to get past his defense, if youre mentally weak it will frustrate you into thinking there is nothing to hit, a mentally strong person will keep at him and trust that his punches are paying off, Cotto seems to be that person to an extent, I do see possibly Clottey hurting Cotto in this fight as Clottey will at times throw punches a fighter doesnt expect, I do not count Clottey out in this fight.

It's a pretty entertaining fight to watch. Enjoy!

By the way, how hard did you take Hatton's last loss? Outside of that complete idiot Johnny Rebel (Calzaghe P4P #1, Hatton P4P #3!!!!!!!!!1111), you are the biggest Hatton fan I can think of on here.

Well when 2 elite fighter fight someone has to lose (unless it is a draw of course), the better man normally wins just because 2 fighters are elite does not mean they are equals.

Anyone can get beat, it depends on the situation involved, and this fight is not the only reason I believe Clottey to basically be a frontrunner. Elite fighters should constantly be trying to win though and should have very little give in them, I dont see any of that in Clottey.

              I do.

              Fair enough.

I don't consider Cotto elite at this point, to much unknown about his current status, when Cotto wins this fight I will think of him as elite again. The situation surround the Cotto-Margarito fight is unclear, even elite fighters have limits to getting hit by plaster (not saying that Margarito did, but the possibility is there enough toallow Cotto somewhat of a pass, although it remain to be seen if that beating took anything out of Cotto).

Even elite fighters are human and can fight the wrong fight.

I would definitely consider Cotto still an elite fighter.
