He was owning Margarito until he hurt his hand. Headbutted the **** out of Zab Judah and.....I think that's about it

It's potential more than anything. This Saturday is sink or swim for him on the elite level.

Everyone wins the early rounds against Margarito. I think it was him getting tired from the constant pressure moreso than a hand problem.

Dwiens is right... its not that hes earned elite status... but anyone who'se seen him fight knows he has the potential to beat most fighters out there regardless if he has earned it yet or not

with all due respect to your father, jr - he wasnt owning ****. he was competitive until he bruised his knuckle (whaaaaaaaaaaa whaaaaa) then margarito proceeded to beat his ass although margarito's ankle was sprained.

This will be a good fight between two equally elite fighters at WW.

I respect Clottey on a certain level, but I have asked the same question many times.

To me Clottey seems to be a front runner, if things start going bad it really effects him badly.

I can't bet on Clottey at over +300 in this fight, that is pretty much all I have to say about my views on his chances.

he's not but he is a top welterweight..
& Clottey just burst on the scene not long ago.. you have to give him time.
you don't just burst out the blue and get considered an elite.
                    give him time.
