Maybe it's true, maybe not, but I can promise you one thing. Thompson would love a fight with Haye and would sign the contract tomorrow. Haye, on the other hand, would not take that matchup for fear of losing his shot at the Klits.

If you really think Peter and Gomez are as good as Haye then you either know nothing about boxing or you're ridiculously biased. Vitali would be the strong favourite to beat Haye, but Haye would be an equally strong favourite to beat Peter or Gomez.

The slick southpaw JC Gomez is much better than Haye, and Peter would be as well if he got his weight back down below 250.

My point is that a champion will clear their division out and move up and get a title shot straight away. That happens all the time in the lower weight classes but Haye does it and it's sacrilege!?

We all say things that suit our own agenda but Christ!, Haye didn't just win a two bob belt at Cruiserweight and came up to Heavyweight throwing his weight around. He was the man at Cruiserweight, who wanted to fight the man at Heavyweight. He had a legit case to fight Wladimir, end of.

this fight would probably make the most sense but with all this wbc bullcrap its prolly not going to happen. If the maskaev klitschko fight is ordered by the wbc I dont think any network in the us will show it, no netwrok besides espn wanted to take klitschko-gomez and It doesnt look good for Wlad-Chagaev which is a huge fight in the he division but no us network seems to want to pick it up
