It's just as bad for Pacquiao to go up in weight than it is for Shane to go down in weight. Hence, catchweight. Pacquiao was tiny at 147, strong but very small.

Cant blame Pacquiao for fighting Mosley at 143, if "THE JUICE MAN" Mosley IS willing to cut his leg off without a doubt come in weight drain against
      a fighter like pacquiao.

Pretty smart move by Pacquiao if you ask me.
he will get full credit for the win but he is not going to be fighting
      a 100% shane mosley.

      Pretty smart.

At the end of the day Pacquiao and Freddie Roach have a good Strategy about getting wins against bigger fighters and it works.

and nobody gives them **** for it.

I mean whats worst fighting blown up super champions or watered down champions....

would you give Shane credit if he beat up the much smaller Pacquiao? a catchweight is only fair.

To be fair it's SSM that wants the fight. He's the one telling everyone he'll fight at a catch weight. He said he's comfortable fighting at 144/143, so obviously he's confident he can be at his best; so why doubt him? Which if the fight happens at 144, it should be an even draw, 3 pounds apart from JWW and WW... That way neither fighter is closer to there weight class. It's a good nautral weight for the fight, and it should be a good fight (provided both sides can come to an agreement on the weight).

people keep blaming mannys opponent shortcomings, but it's not them, it's just manny is all that. they dont wanna admit manny is that good
Your telling me DLH wasn't dehydrated? And Manny just made his look dehydrated... I aint taking away his other wins at lower weights that's irrelevant. However, all I am saying is... we saw DLH was weight drained at 147, you can't say he wasn't and Manny just made him look it cause he is all that, because it is the truth and you are blind if you don't see it (no disrespect to you of course).

I agree with all you said, besides the DLH and Marquez 2 bit... I had Marquez winning, and lets be fair DLH was weight drained.

Mosley will be dehydrated, last time he weight below 145 was 1999, last time he weight below 147 was 2002... it will take a much bigger toll on Mosley going down in weight than Pacquiao going up... especially if they do another De La Hoya and say he can't weigh any more than 147 on fight night because he usually weight 155+.
