Right, first of all... props to Manny for taking a fight with Shane who is quite a lot bigger than him, respect him for that.

However, it says at a catch-weight... and I am wondering how Shane will fair at anything under 147... in all honesty I cant see Shane being a healthy fighter at anything under 147 and I feel if the catch weight is too low he will be extremely dehydrated and weight drained.

He probably wont be as dehydrated as DLH was, but if they do a catch weight at around 143, I feel Shane will still be dehydrated and weight drained... especially if his fight night weight has to stay at 143 like in the DLH fight... I mean I know fighters manage to rehydrate there bodies by fight night and in Shane's case weight 155+ in a Welterweight fight... but if he has to weigh under 147 for this fight at the weigh-in then it could take a toll on his body and I don't think he will be fighting fit...

That's what I am thinking anyway, I know nothing has been finalized or signed yet... but it looks like its heading in that direction.

try to consider manny is moving up and down in weight for his previous fights, dont you think that takes a toll on the body? i think it's fair and mosley would make the weight comfortably

I respect the Pacman, but why isn't this fight at 147? Didn't he fight at 147 already? Why the catchweight for Shane?

I still love the fact that Manny emphatically said, "Let's do it." But I wish it would be at 147. That would have added to his legacy, surely. No questions asked.

if shane loses because of weight drain its his own damn fault, hes chasing the number 1 spot......with shane at his best its a 50-50 fight.......im looking forward to it either way

Marquez was unhealthy and undersized at 130? Diaz was unhealthy and undersized at 135? Hatton was healthy and undersized at 140?

I believe it's ******ed. He saw what happened to DLH. As in matter of fact we all did. This is the worst decision that Mosley can make in his career. I hope the money earned in the end is worth it for him..
